What time of day do you train?

What time of day do you trian?

This could have a huge impact on your training.

I used to train early in the morning, a 8-9 a.m. start I am not the type of person who is awake and energized for a.m. training and I used to have to take a lot of stimulants like ephedrine, caffeine to wake up and train.

Lately I train only late at night. From 9:30 to 11 pm weeknights. That is when I have the most energy. I take no preworkout stimulants but I have more energy than ever and am making great gains.

I also do sled dragging late at night too like 11 p.m. and in FL its much cooler outside and conducive to training outside.

If your training is lagging because of fatigue or something else you might want to switch training times around. I is something that can make a big difference for you.

Anyone else a night trainer? Gimme your opinions!

i live in texas and like you fl people, i have to fight the heat. it's hot as hell here. i usually train at night, but i have a pool here so if i do train during the day, i immediately dive into the pool as soon as i get done. it feels soooo good to hit that water. i lifted last night around midnight and i thought my partner was going to faint. it's just so hot all the damn time.

I hear ya...I'm in Missouri and too cheap to turn on my air. It was 101 INSIDE my house today...300% humidity. Can't sleep, never hungry, BLUCH.

As for training time, for over a year, I trained at 6AM. i didn't have trouble with energy, but my lifts DID suffer. I was training for BB then, so I didn't care. When I started training with Hannibal, I switched to 6:00PM. I don't know if it's the training time, the new style of training, the intensity, etc...but I am SO much leaner now, without having changed anything about my diet. If anything, I tend to eat more, because I know I will burn it all off before bed anyway (on training days).

I work at 5 in the morning so f**k training at 3 in the morning.

I train pretty late.

i need at least two good solid meals in me before i go for it.

I am home for a couple more weeks (its been two weeks at home already) with a broken bone in my foot, and i still dont get the full beifit from training unless i am fully awake, well fed and have done stuff around the house.

I feel the senses are a bit more awake as well....so i dont do anything stupid like unloading one whole side of a barbell at once

I train between 7-10 at night.

I will come in from work and unwind for an hour or so.I will grab something to eat, and 30-45 minutes after that I will workout.

I train at about 5:30 AM. Already eaten oatmeal and protein, been up for about two hours by this time.

I have never been able to train as well late in the day.

11AM.

Thinking of getting up really early because the heat is really getting to me. Especially during cardio.

I wouldn't be nuts enough to wake up at 3am tho ;)

I turn the air on when it gets above 72 outside. I grew up without air and I'll be damned if I ever suffer through another summer.
