What should I do on back/bicep day? WG chins or pull ups.

I've been doing pull ups for no other reason than the fact that I cant hit chins in the 6-8 rep range (after doing my rows).

However I know some people do wg chins rather than wg pullups for back/bi's.

What would everyone reccomend? The chins, where I may not be able to get 6-8, or stick with the pullups?

My routine looks like this.

Deads 4 sets
bentover rows 2-3 sets
pullups 3 sets
bb curls 2 sets
hammer curls 2 sets

Thanks

You could superset them....or alternate weekly. Pull ups may pre-exhaust your biceps tho, meaning you can't do your biceps to death on the last two exersizes.

I would go with chins tho, cos I find them harder than pull ups and using my own brand of logic I take that to mean they work better. I may have a lot to learn............

Just to clarify, by chins you mean close grip underhand pullups yes? And wg pullups are wide-grip overhand pullups?

If so, I don't see a reason to do one over the other. They're both great lat excercises. Only thing is, among a lot of the posts I read, many can't say enough about wide-grip pullups. I'd stay with your chins for say 8 weeks total, then switch to the pullups.
