Want to compete need some help

I have been trying to find a trainer and finally think i found a lady that is going to train me take a look at her website, let me know what you all think.

Performance Ready Team

The nice thing about her is she is in my town which i think will help me stay focused. :)

I didn't read the entire program, but it appears to be a boot camp of mostly cardio. You need to have someone who knows how to train competitors doing weights and hitting every muscle. Someone who can see where you're week and where is your strength, and not everyone can do that. Do your reseach. Check with other people who have trained with them. You don't want to lose time and money in the process.

Awesome thanks for the Karma that was kick ass of you.

Did you read her online team stuff?

Do you know of any good trainers online that i should look at?

Yes, I did read it and as I mentioned, it appears is a boot camp and you need someone experienced in training figure or BB with weights. I'm going to guess is against EF policy to give out refferals, so I really can't help you with that. However, I'm going to suggest to use someone who is a pro and sell those services on line.
I personal would not go that way, but if you're starting and don't know anyone, this is the best.
As you go along, you'll find to learn from all the people who appears in your life. I've been training for 20 years and I'm still learning and still don't know all I need to know about competing. This is very different then just getting in shape, which is already chllenging enough.

You need different components: training, cardio and nutrition and they all need to be spot on. If you don't have the nutrition, it won't work. Nutrition is 50% of the work.

I can understand why some people think they need a coach or a trainer, and in all honesty, they are useful in the last week before a comp.

You could sort out what you need to do on your own hun, it is very empowering, and as well, you are the one who knows your body the best.

I have had the best success through intuitive dieting (and counting my calories), and doing my own research, experimenting with taking food in and out.

As far as training goes, there are so many great programs on the net.

There are also so many great books.

I think if you have the concept of how to train with intensity, if you find a decent training partner, not much else is required besides yourself.

Well... trainer or not... you must decide a date for a competition and start planning accordingly for it. You still have 23% and need to lower your % while retaining as much muscle as possible. The diet can start taking a twist but it will all depend on the date of the competition you are aiming to.
