everytime i inject bi's i think about getting a abcess but then i think it wont happen to me this is just to show you that it can happen to anybody, bbf are you still using eq? do you think that the prolonged duration of your cycle contributed to your lowered immunity towards infections even when taking antibiotics? how long til you can hit the gym again? anywho get well soon and get plenty of sucky sucky :blow:

I don't get sick, even when on aas for long periods of time. I got food poisoning 2 days before the abcess developed, which probably contributed the most to my lowered immune system.

The doctor felt the reason I did not get better on the antibiotics was due to the fact that there was puss in the muscle that had not been drained, was the reason the antibiotics (which he felt were too weak) failed to work properly. Actually for the first few days it improved greatly then rapidly rebounded.

I could go on Survivor and come back 5 lbs heavier.

My doctor said there were documented cases. The injection can spread in the right environment, into the muscle. In my case I had food poisoning just before which greatly reduces my immune system, and was just cutting back my training a bit due to feeling overtrained a bit.

-Bran, yeah over a pint...it was pretty fucking gross orb. Thanks for your support.

Rest up young buck, and you'll be back in no time.

I don't understand how people lose size so fast.

I've only lost about 8 lbs, but I look noticably flater even though Anna insist I look a littel more cut. I haven't touched a weight in two weeks, and suspect some of it is just a loss of muscle glycogen, due to lack of training, and the fact that my appetite is not that good and I'm eating a lot less calories than I usually do.

I'll probably be out of the gym another week or two, and about 3 weeks before I can train my bicep directly. I'll get it back though. I'm determined to get well, rest and recovery, then work back into my routine, slowly at first, then hit it hard with fresh motivation.

I'm one of those that can lose 5lbs in one day by just not eating much. Guess I hold a lot of water.

I've been out of teh gym two weeks, I got food poisoning the weekend before, which is what probably lowered my immune system enough to allow the infection to start in the first place (no it was not from juice... I have not done a site shot in my biceps for a couple of months). I've already lost a little size, a good inch off my arms and thighs. In a couple of weeks I can start trying again...

With that said , I tink you should forget about the gym and stay in good spirits. I'm one of the people that think that bad mental health leads to bad physical health , so don't let the stress get you. You've probably lost alot of muscle due to cortisol production aside from the food and water issues.

As far as the gear , I believe imuune system function decreases with age , so what you've been able to do in the past may not necessarily be so today. It's all about adjustments.

That's a fact in many, many cases.
