No wasn't synthol. Honestly I have never even seen a bottle of synthol in real life. But I did have a 22" arm, cold measurement, for a little while with all of that puss in there.

Welll sorry to hear all this, and I do hope you heal quickly.

I do think it would be pretty friggin obvious if it were an infection that had spread from the skin - i.e. - the skin and underlying tissues would also be infected.

Right, and it was. The skin was infected in the lower 1/4th of my bicep as well.

don't worry everyone i will be taking care and keeping a close eye on bbf over the next few weeks. why is it that it takes so much to get a man to go to the hospital. yeah he didn't tell y'all that i had to practicly drag him out of bed, dress and then drive him to the hospital. makes me wonder how long he would of waited had i not been around. his arm was turning blue from lack of circulation. men next time your woman, wife, or mother tells you to go to the doctor. just listen and do it. we only nag you about going because we love ya. yeah bbf is just as stubborn as his father. his mother was telling about how his dad didn't want to go to the hospital and the man was having a heart attack. is hard headedness genetic?!

...over the last couple of days the abcess in my arm got worse despite the anti-biotics, so I went to the ER last night.

They lanced open my bicep and trained over a pint of puss from it (I've had this abcess since monday of last week, and got treatment the next day).

That sounds scary! Hope you're okay.

As previously stated I have to shave everything, even my arms, because I grow thick black bodyhair over an inch long everywhere.

That sounds even scarier.
