dont get me wrong, i would not want to be in a ring with any of those guys, but watching the UFC has become quite boring. seems like more and more rules all the time...

Gone are the days of Tank and Coleman! That's when you would see actual full contact punches. Now its a Brazilian JuJitsu show.

I agree that the addition of more and more rules does drag the sport and decline the reality, but they've got to try and get the sport more mainstream somehow. We can still watch Vale tudo, Pancrase, EF, etc.
