Touching a woman on the elbow, sexual harassment?

caligirl said:
a wink never got a guy in trouble.... if they respond with a full eye contact smile, then I'd guess it be okay to go to the next step and touch them below the elbow.... but not as far down as the hand...

"a wink never got a guy in trouble"

Yeah right...I've personally seen a wink get somebody in trouble and transfered.

I was always taught to ask permission to touch somebody before you do it
I asked a woman this weekend for permission to fantasize about her naked. Was that wrong? She said "sure" but wouldn't describe her bush to me! I hate those prudish cunts! :)

thats unreal.

Whilst I admire your ability to stand up for yourself in this situation, I certainly hope you sell enough in other accounts to make up for the 300k you turned away.... You would be probably put on warning in my company for that

I am a buyer. So this dude was selling 300 grand worth of coolant to me.
I work for 2nd largest valve manuf in the world and I alone (we have 14 plants) spend A LOT a yr in product, so these guys need me more than I need them.
I take a lot of crap from suppliers and never cut anyone out unless they are crude (like ass grab guy).

I can't believe you guys are all posting on this thread and totally ignored my sexual harassment thread.

Anywho a touch on the elbow is not sexual at all, and any woman who files that at a sexual harassment claim is a total piece of shit as a person. Sure if a man says something directly sexual or touch her ass, breasts or crotch without expressed permission that should count, but anything else is bullshit and nothing more than a ploy for money, or a huge self-image issue that she needs to deal with and not drag other people's lives into.

speaking of "cupping" I was in a large dept store awhile back.. wearing a short skirt... but not too short.. mid thigh length, the little flowing cute kind... I was standing waiting for my former husband to get something... I felt a hand slide up my skirt and just cup my ass right below my crack... he kinda just nudged it right up in there... I truned around thinking it was my husband... NOPE... it was a little chinaman with a friggin foo manchu hanging off his chin, with the biggest smile on earth..... he was about 4 feet tall and so frail... OMG!!!!!!!!! scared the shit out of me.. made his day.... I didn't do anything, let him go, I can just imagine how much shit that old fart gets away with just by virtue of his age. He looked about 90.

Some stupid wanna be ganster pulled that shit with an ex GF of mine.

I happened to be walking around the corner of the isle when it happened, fucker tried to run past me when he realized I was her boyfriend...I grabbed him and head butted him in his face so hard I know that shit made him a little bit retarded.

I remember being in late high school/early college and working. There were about 4 people around and I made a funny joke that had a little bit of a sexual hint in. Everybody laughed except for this one prude who with a pissed off face said "I do not appreciate talk like that" and stormed off.

I was afraid she was going to tell on me but I don't think she ever did.
That incident got me thinking though, how stupid people can be and how easily I could get in trouble so easily for something so harmless and simple.

Politically Correctness has ruined America. People get offended over nonsense if they think they can gain something from it.

Out of abject curiosity when I am in the mood to talk to women usually I touch them on the tricep or elbow before I start talking to them. As of yet I haven't met any rude/angry women doing this (only done it 20 times or so), and most seem to like it. HOwever could this be construed as a threat or as sexual harassment in any way? Many of these women are total strangers and yeah, this is how creepy I am and try to be.

Probably depends on your audience and how you do it. I am from the south, and we are very physically demonstrative that way and most don't find it offensive. I think you just have to know what the woman is like. To be on the safe side, I would probably just nix that behaviour in the work place so that I never had to defend myself if someone got the wrong impression. Better safe than sorry.

I dont even joke with women (even though they make all kind of sexual comments to/about me).

I've seen 2 guys seperate occasions get fired for joking around with the same women they've joked with for years.

Same types of comments and jokes with the same women...say it to them on the wrong day and bam your fired so fast your head will spin.

Men dont even get a chance to defend themselves either...what...he sexually harassed you??...bam you're fired.
