Touching a woman on the elbow, sexual harassment?

Lao Tzu said:
Out of abject curiosity when I am in the mood to talk to women usually I touch them on the tricep or elbow before I start talking to them. As of yet I haven't met any rude/angry women doing this (only done it 20 times or so), and most seem to like it. HOwever could this be construed as a threat or as sexual harassment in any way? Many of these women are total strangers and yeah, this is how creepy I am and try to be.
That's the problem with all these well-intended bullshit laws.

They use language like "unwelcome contact" and "hostile working environment" and then let a bunch of judges decide what the lawmakers meant. Its a pathetic way to push-off responsibility for writing good legislation away from lawmakers and toward the judiciary.

I'd love to see a constitutional amendment that automatically struck-down any law that wasn't quantifiable and/or fully spelled-out.

And yes, you can be beyond fucked for touching a woman on the elbow. It can *definately* be considered harassment based on court rulings. And the fun thing is, we taxpayers get to pay for the Department of Labor / Equal Employment Opportunity Commission investigation that ensues. Fun times.

women have always been rewarded with a firm pat on the bottom, i don't see why that should change....

I dont even want to get started on the stupid laws the U.S. is concocting on a dailly basis making silly things into crimes.

How many times have you went up to a guy put your left hand on his shoulder and shook his hand at the same time? It is a sign of friendship, kindness and a show of a you mean no threat to the person?

Stupid laws we make sometimes

no, it means you want to use their pantyhose to tie them up and have sex with them. my feminist professor told me so.

now, don't you ever piss standing up ever again. it's a sign of sexual dominance and aggression to piss standing up. from now on you will sit down and pee.

got that?

Americans are not "touchy" "feely". Would you kiss a male friend on the cheek while greeting him? But if you were in many European countries, you would without a second thought.

It's sad that people are afraid to touch each other anymore. But if I were you, I would keep my hands to myself just to be doubly safe that no woman with ill intentions could use it against me.

There is no such thing as truth OR justice, but only perception.

Perception IS reality. The sooner we all learn this, the happier we will be.

Yes, especially if you're a supervisor.

We had a supervisor get fired over patting a female worker on the shoulder and saying "good job".
Same here Pick, I had a Supervisor get reprimanded for touching and talking to a lady.. It depends on the company.. watch out.......

a wink never got a guy in trouble.... if they respond with a full eye contact smile, then I'd guess it be okay to go to the next step and touch them below the elbow.... but not as far down as the hand...
