My company just adopted a new harassment policy (brought on by a complaint from me and others) and they would not fire someone, but simply suspend them. We also need to confront the person who may have done the harassment and try to work it out before the company will take any action.
When I started here (almost 7 yrs ago) I was told on many occasions "we hired you for your legs not your brains"
My ex boss called me into his office told me to close the door and said (this is NO BULL) " If you did not work for me would you get on your knees and give me a blow job"
This is a multi million $ company and here was this FUCKBAG asking me this shit. I complained and you know what they told me "Ignore him, he is prob. not getting sex from his wife"
YEP TRUE STORY!
SO damn right I went to HR and it took one solid year, 6 different lawyers and investigators and this company finally got a policy in place. The losers who abused their power with me, well they were suspended and two left out of shame.
Some women do abuse their power to complain, others to not.
Thanks for seeing the OTHER side!
Assume you were still in college and I came up and touched your elbow and started talking to you about yourself (what your name is, what your goals are, what your hobbies are, etc). Would you or any sane woman consider that sexual harassment?
