Too much fat ??

KIPPERS !!! Is this to much fat for one meal ??


200g 595 cals
ENERGY 245GKJ
PROTEIN 38G
CARBS 2.0G of sugars nil
FAT 48g of whitch saturated 12g
FIBRE 1.0g
SODIUM 2.0

6.30 40g whey with table spoon Lecithin and.

9.00 Workout weights, High reps 12/15 4 set of everything sometimes one heavly set. Followed by 15/20min tread mill

10.15 60g whey with 30g Detorex, one Banana.

12.30 half a pack of kippers or chicken breast with 6 eggs one yolksand mix veggies.

3.00 Just whey and tablespoon of Lecithin .

5.00 chicken breast or kippers some days a red meat with veggies.

7.00 Just whey with a tablespoon of peanut butter.

9.30 Can of tuna blended in 300ml of water.

11.00 40g whey in skimmed milk with table spoon lecithin

I drink no less than 3 litres of water !

I have lost 17lb in 9 weeks and just over two inches of my waist on this diet with one cheat meal on weekends.

This week I have done 45min cardio in the mornings 3 days but lift weights 5 nights, just to shock my body a little. For the whole of the 9 weeks before this I was doing weights in the morning with 20min cardio at the end with just one 45min session cardio weekend.

Fat content seems VERY high ... I always try to NOT eat higher fat/carb in the same meal. SO, if the carb count in the meal is minimal and you like your kippers, I don't see a HUGE problem with it as long as you're getting in your healthy fats & feel it's working for you. If your progress starts to slow down you can always opt for the chicken & change things up.

If it works for you and you like it, then keep it.

smoked herring.

My guess is the nutritional info includes the oil that it's packed in.. which you probably aren't drinking . . .
