impossible, we all have blak friends.
LOL
So many white guys say "my best friend is black"
impossible, we all have blak friends.
So far the ONLY black people defending the kid is his mother and WTF would you expect there? No, there's just as many troubled white people bro. We just don't defend them when they screw up like this. We send them behind bars just like the rest of them.
If this was a white kid, my opinion on deserving what he got would have not changed a bit.
Please do some research on the disparity of prison sentence lengths between cocaine (predominately used by whites) versus crack (predominately used by blacks) then get back to me.lol really
what do prison population breakdowns by race look like?

.
this is only gettin started bro. The NAACP is involved, they WILL have the black folk down at the courthouse protesting if they don't get their way. I mean you do know that this is incoming right? I'm not saying it's gonna be OJ quality rioting, far from it..........but you will see people out there yelling and screaming holding up the clean cut pictures of the kid and it will seem to any uninformed bystander that this was some completely one sided interaction between the pharmacist and the dead kid. The NAACP will see to this.

BM do you live in texas?
The disparity is certainly there but it's not a fair assumption to blame it all on race. Cocaine use vs crack use breaks down along socioeconomic lines. Because crack is more prevalent among impoverished communities, there is more street crime associated with that drug.
The huge social problem that came with crack is the fact that it was the first drug that became very popular among women and created a large population of female drug addicts. This in turn left thousands of children neglected because their mothers were strung out.
In short, the effects of crack are much more harmful to society than the effects of cocaine. I believe the longer prison sentences for crack are an attempt to reign the problem in; albeit an ineffective effort.
but a closer look demonstrates how much more crime potential there is with crack and crack users
great point
doesn't crack come from cocaine? Aren't you basically cutting the cocaine and doing some other shit to it to make it "crack"?? And wouldn't it be more likely that people dealing in cocaine are more toward the top of the food chain in terms of how the shit gets here in the first place? Some suit that get's busted with the flake probably knows some high brow columbians or Italians that may have a hand in bringing the shit in whereas some dude on the street corner trying to sell crack in the hood is "overall" less of the problem than it is the high brow thugs trafficking the shit to the U.S in the first place.
I guess I just look at it totally differently.

(meaning possibly our great great great grandfather) oppressed their people somehow. fuck this shit
the way i feel right now im ashamed to say is a bit racist because these stories make it seem as if the black community wants us to kiss their ass because we (meaning possibly our great great great grandfather) oppressed their people somehow. fuck this shit
SOMEHOW?
You really need to learn to express yourself better because you cannot possibly intend for that to come off as bad as it does.
Certainly blacks have things better now than at any time in our Country's past; and many of them fail to realize this yet.
But you pass off 100 years of slavery followed by 100 years treatment as 2nd class citizens (beaten and killed by whites virtually at will) as being oppressed SOMEHOW?

yeah because I didn't do shit to them, I paid for my own college, and I actually pay for things instead of stealing them. I dont owe the black community anything, and the prevailing entitlement mentality is so god damned annoying it makes me fucking crazy.
Not to sound like a douche here but do Americans think that they invented the concept of slavery?
I don't care whether the person who is holding the gun that is pointed at me is male/female/old/young/christian/muslim/aetheist/able-bodied/handi-capped/black/white/mixed race/rocket scientist or mentally challenged bitch is going to get shot dead and I will have ZERO moral qualms about it.
+1 for honesty

Have you EVER had a gun pointed at you in life? Know how many milliseconds it takes to press the trigger? I could shoot you before you even moved your pink finger!

No, but I am thinkin that the pharmacist who shot that piece of shit didn't have much experience either. He seemed to do just fine.
It is not a situation that I WANT to have happen, but if it does I will be prepared.
DBG
Black kid
U BM!!!! "These two kids made an egregious mistake," said the Rev. Reginald Mitchell, president of the Oklahoma City branch of the NAACP. "The community is going to have to take ownership. These are our problems."

LOL Did you see the target I posted from the VERY FIRST TIME I handled and fired a rifle and a handgun?
I think I'll do ok.
And as for the psychological aspect of it, other than taking a human life (which I have admittedly never done, nor do I crave to) so much has been taken from me and life has shown me so much harshness that I can honestly say that if I were put in a position where it was MY LIFE or the LIFE OF ONE WHO IS THREATENING MY LIFE - I will pull that trigger without hesitation.
I would not ever consent to own a handgun if I had a question in my mind.

We all know you unintentionally hit the target of the guy in the next booth so don't act all Charles Bronson and shit.LOL Did you see the target I posted from the VERY FIRST TIME I handled and fired a rifle and a handgun?

Shooting a guy lying unconscious on the ground goes far beyond self defense...just like a wife shooting her now sleeping husband because he beat her ass an hour earlier.he needs to take that one last step and admit that the charge of murder one is too far. I am not unimpressed with that admission, however.....for someone to see that the pharmacist is going to be charged with the same degree of murder that the accomplice's in the attempted armed robbery are, someone needs to step up and say that's not fair. "Praising" that charge seems a bit uncalled for under the circumstances.

as much as I would personally condone a woman doing something like that, there's still an hour difference there. What the pharmacist did, no matter how callous it may seem to people who've never been in that situation.......while not justified completely, does not even REMOTELY justify a 1st degree murder charge. The guy shouldn't spend more than a year in jail.........and not "pound me in the ass" prison either, I'm talkin easy time where he can be with other dude's his age and play chess with em all day long. The loss of that kids life does not in any way shape or form warrant a 1st degree response from the state.

This is correct. 1st degree means "premeditated" murder. meaning the person had to have planned out the murder in some capacity. The pharmacist did not in anyway "plan" to kill someone when he woke up that morning. And the mitigating circumstances of the robbery and reasonable fear of his own life certainly dont make it murder in any way shape or form. The state should wise up and charge him with manslaughter in some form, no jury in Oklahoma is going to convict him for murder.

Now if this happened in the great state of Texas NO ONE would have heard about it.
"Another citizen did his civic duty when pushed to the limit and took out a low-life piece of shit."
*thunderous applause*
"And now in the news...."
