Hey folks,

Firstly I would like to say a massive thank you and how much of an honour it is to be invited to log with @ODINLABS @OdinLabsRep. Have been involved in the Aussie scene now for a bit and see a few familiar heads around here.

@Big_Cheese

you got a good plan going. i like that you are now part of the EF family. you are going to do great on this one. already look great at your age!

Progress update:

Fasted check in this morning. Sitting at 89kg. This is my first check in with the coach. Not insane progress but slightly noticeable. Up 5.6kg from very first photos taken and sent fasted. Arguably slightly leaner and weight is up so delighted. Exactly 20 weeks total between photos, with 10 of those weeks being at true trt cruise, not bodybuilding cruise levels. Still have age on the side so excited to see where I can take this over the next year or two.

Have logged on evo for a while but excited to start up here. Again big thanks to @ODINLABS @OdinLabsRep for the honour of the invite. Below are some physique photos. Have a good day iron brothers
@Big_Cheese hell yeah nice log I will be following along for sure!

Hey folks,

Firstly I would like to say a massive thank you and how much of an honour it is to be invited to log with @ODINLABS @OdinLabsRep. Have been involved in the Aussie scene now for a bit and see a few familiar heads around here.

Age: 24
Weight: 89.1 fasted
Goal: overarching goal is to step on stage. Need a considerable amount of mass which I’m aware of and working on. Provisional plan to compete is 2026. Although it’s a long game and I’m happy to wait. Will be pushing hard and if I’m there I’m there. Don’t want to turn up for a participation medal. But realise getting some stage experience and seeing if I enjoy the process is important

Lower 2:
Toe Press: 165x8, x8, x8 Rep match
1/2 kneeling ham curl: 26.25x7, x6, 17.5x13
Leg Extension: 120x10, x10 Rep match
Pendulum: 20x10, x10
Cybex Squat Press: 240x10, x9 Rep pause
Hammer Strength SA Hip Press: 70x10, 80x8
Cybex Adductor: 67x10, x10

Good day today. Overloaded all movements. Still getting back into the groove of squats and getting more load into the adductor. Adductor and squat work on the lighter side. Find the presses don’t aggravate anything and I don’t feel anything which is good. Probably at my highest numbers of all time currently. Just need to keep momentum going.

Fasted Weight: holding between 90-90.6 currently

Training updates from last 2 days:

Upper 1:

Life Pec Dec: 84x9, x9 Rep match
High Incline Smith: 32.5x8, 22.5x12
Dip Machine: 52.5x9, 36.25x13
Prime Seated Row: 87.5x6, 67.5x12
Prime Extreme Row: 87.5x8, 67.5x13
Rope Pullover: 35x8, x8 Rep match
Pannatta Super French Press: 15x10, x8, x7
Db Curl: 17.5x9, 15x8, 12.5x13

Progressed all movements again. Feeling strongest I’ve been. Lot of fatigue accumulating as we get stronger. Have optional accessories day on Saturday. More of a pump day, small muscle groups. Will hit those this week but all based on fatigue accumulation. Recovery has been really good but definitely noticing a small slow down as the weight goes up so trying to be more intentional with progression and jumping load. The Saturday sessions are tracked but are honestly more pump based stuff, few intensifier techniques and going off “feel”. Have listened to a lot of trained by Jp stuff. By listening to your body, pushing hard and doing things that work for me, not that are “optimal”

Lower 1:
Toe Press: 165x10, x10, x10 rep match
Cybex Adductor: 67x14, 76x8
Stiff Leg Deadlifts: 210x2, 160x9
Life Laying Ham: 125x8, 100x12
Nautilus Glute Drive: 60x16, x14
Hammer SL Hip Press: 85x8, 87.5x10
Hoist Ext: 93x12, 102x10

Big leg day progress here. Enjoying bringing in some heavy compounds. Nothing will build mass like ripping a heavy bar from the floor. Legs were fairly fried yesterday. Today fairly okay recovery is good. But finding upper back is toast so any accessory work today will be small groups. Focus on biceps, triceps, rear delts, lateral delts and calves.

Yeah bro all done in the upper session. Lower wise no squats currently as I’m coming back from an adductor and hip flexor tear and just building some confidence and strength under the bar. 50% mental game but would rather slowly return and come back stronger

Not insane numbers but definitely strong for me. Just need to keep the consistency which is no worries and see how far I can take it

@Big_Cheese This is why training at a proper gym is important. Those exercises that you're doing, you won't find that most gyms. To properly train your legs, you have to be at a good gym.

@Big_Cheese Wow, this is very impressive. I like how you finish out the workout with adductor and abductor. Not many people even bother with that but they're important for your inner legs. Iron hardcore training at its finest

@Big_Cheese Very nice job young, man. It's always good to see a nice balanced leg Training Day. You should definitely be recovering good, especially at your age. If you start noticing recovery issues, that's a red flag that you're definitely overtraining

Solid upper day today. Progressed everything which is detailed above. Not all progressions are weight jumps, but improving tempo and execution. Keen to take my weekly progress photos this weekend and keep the ball rolling. Body’s absolutely battered so will just do some additional rear delts and calves in work this Saturday. Will superset and bang them out early

@Big_Cheese that’s a good leg day brother

Upper:

BB Bench: 105x3, 80x12
BB Row: 105x6, 77.5x14
Incline Smith: 27.5x9, 18.75x13
SA Lat Pulldown: 65x8, 50x13
DB Lateral: 12.5x10, 10x13
Smith Shrug: 25x14, 30x10
DB Curl: 20x6, 15x10, 12.5x13
Dual Rope Pushdown: 25x9, x8, 15x18

Progressed all movements. Working towards that 140 bench but taking it slow and steady. Had been taking bigger jumps and up roughly 25kg in the last 3 and a bit weeks so happy enough there considering it’s almost like a new movement again. Progress is the best it’s been so far. Really enjoying this change of programming. Have this Monday upper fully locked in now has been playing with new sets of kit as I’m in a different gym to all my other training days due to some timing issues with work.

@Big_Cheese you are looking good on this man. a lot of the training is on point. upper body training is A+. keep it up!

Generally go with a 3 second eccentric so not just humping weight around for the sake of getting it up. Exciting for the pushing up for the next 4-6 months depending on body composition. It’s a bit of a longer phase but I’m behind so need to build on the foundation

Big leg day today. Overloaded deads again. Really enjoy stiff leg and will swap out to conventional once I’ve hit a plateau. Looking to build up erectors and posterior chain as a whole so just pulling as opposed to a 3 second eccentric. Otherwise 3 second eccentric and all movements and a 1 second hard contraction. Recovery day Sunday and taking it easy in general. Logged my Saturday small muscle group day elsewhere

Cybex Adductor: 90x8, 67x14

Heel Elevated Belt Squat: 35x9, 25x13
SL Hip Press: 100x8
Walking Lunge DB: 25x10 each leg
Toe Press: 135x11, x10

Slightly changed up movements in my rotation. Been hammering the same set of movements the last 4-5 months and have seen nice progress but trying to gain a new stimulus. Including some single leg work to limit overall wear and tear while still getting a good stimulus per muscle group. Brought in the belt squat to keep the lower back as fresh as possible. Especially while running a rotation where deadlifts are a key progression lift for me, aiming for longevity and being able to consistently train and prevent injury

JM Press x3
Prime Preacher Curl x3
Rope Pushdown x3
Hammer strength high bicep curl x3
Lat raise machine x3
Rear Delt fly x3

All based on recovery which is currently great. Small accessory movement which doesn’t accumulate much fatigue really. More of an enjoyment session so untracked. Will take a full weekend off next week as fatigue is climbing at this point and it isn’t fully sustainable. Mid week sessions are lower on volume higher in intensity. Whereas these sessions are a tad bit higher on volume but lower intensity outside of intensifiers. Drop sets and rest pause etc

Lower training yesterday:
Hammer Machine Crunch SS plank x3
Adductor: 95x8, 72x13
Life Laying Ham: 150x8, 110x11
Leg Ext: 103x11, x9, 66x15
Heel Elevated Belt Squat: 40x9, 26.25x12
SL Cybex Squat Press: 60x12, x10
DB Walking Lunge: 25x10 each leg
Toe Press: 165x11, x11

Everything progressed today. Belt squats back in the rotation to minimise lower back loading as opposed to my other lower day and to counteract heavy bb rows the day previous. Massive pump as well the @ODINLABS oils doing the trick massively here. Massive numbers boost last 5-6 weeks it’s been a productive push up so far. Excited to see where the next few months takes me as well.
