tertroxin, cynomel, cytomel

I already know that diet and exercise is the best way to lose flab and that thyroid medications can be dangerous, but I'm asking this anyways.

Has anyone tried tertroxin? Its supposedly the UK version of cytomel. I tried cynomel and it did nothing for me, so now I wanted to try something new. I had a hard time finding real cytomel online, so I went with the tertroxin. any opinions on it?

Why do you want to take this? Especially if you "know" diet and exercise is the way to go?

Not to be judgemental, and I apologize if it sounds harsh ....... BUT .......

It is immature and silly to take whatever you can get your hands on. This is your body, you only get one shot at life. To just take something because it was easier and quicker - well, that is just plain stupid. The potential end result is not worth the saved time and money. Like I said, I am truely very sorry if this offends you, but lack of knowledge is dangerous.

Trust me, there is no lack of knowledge here. I wrote a biochemistry term paper on thyroid hormones, I've read a ton of studies and I've done my research. If I completely respected my body and cared about possible side effects, I wouldn't take it. Its called being desperate and obsessed. I'll take caution, but I don't really care if I get hurt.

I am very glad you have the knowledge, that is great. But it truely scares me that you are not afraid of the outcome.

You do not respect your body if you do not care for it. You cannot have respect if you don't care if you get hurt.

I hope you get the answers you seek. And I hope you overcome the desperation and lack of care for yourself. That is disturbing and extremely sad.

Hopefully someone here can give you the information you seek. Good luck to you - physically and emotionally - I have a feeling you'll need it.

I've never heard of tertroxin, but if its just a UK version of cytomel, aka T-3, what's the difference between that & cynomel or any other country's version of it? As long as it is "real", the dosage & quality may differ, but its all the same stuff. What's the point?

I saw a post from a while back (sometime in 2002) when I did a search and some guy said that cynomel did nothing, but he had side effects from tertroxin. I've also seen posts of people saying that cynomel did nothing, but cytomel did. I was just curious if there was any other feedback I could get in regards to the comparison of the different T3 products.
