TCyp every 10 days for HRT purposes?

Some of you may remember my HRT debacle earlier this year where I was on 100mg/wk Cyp and my system got shutdown. Part of this was due to (I think) to much test for too long (10 months) and part was due to not using any ancillaries to prevent shutdown. Im ok now and want to get back on the test but think 100mg/wk is too much. What do you guys think of 100mg once every 10 days? I would do 50mg every 5 days but now were talking 1/4 ml since my script is for 200mg/ml strength. I will also be using HCG intermittently, probably some of needtos stuff also, for shutdown prevention. I miss being on test damn it lol

wow..sorry man i dont have an answer more of a question..did u ever find out how being on hrt shut u down liek that/i am about to start blasting and crusing was just woundering

i remember your story and it is troubling. your doctor never advised you on WHY that problem occured? you said you are getting a script, whoever is writing you the script needs to find out the issue first or they are just blowing you off and dont care about your well being.

i would suggest just recovering and then cycling in the future. yeah its old school but too many jump on HRT unnecessarily and then learn it isn't the best situation

Well the deal is my natural t levels were never clinically low, i was just trying to "goose" up my T levels and maintain it but they went too high and out of clinical range which i think lead to the total shutdown. I think its going to be a fine line between raising my test and shutting down my own over long term HRT. I just loved being on test though, its all its advertised to be lol

bro there are guys on here posting who have been on for years.. 7 years, 10 years, 15 years.

that cannot be the reason. once the HPTA shuts down, it shuts down.. doesn't matter how long you are on. week 4 or 5 it shuts down.

At any rate, my T levels were lower while i was on 100mg/wk after 10 months than before i even started taking any test. But after 3 months on my levels were higher than the clinical range, and higher than i wanted it actually since my goal was high normal, not off the scale.
This whole things a fuckin crapshoot i dont know how you guys do cycles without totally jacking yourselves up lolol

I know thats why you need to find out WHY that happened. it makes no sense to me.

PS. my total test dropped to 98 after my cycle was over and the esthers were out of my body. it does SUCK. but now I am recovering and pretty soon I will be ready for my next cycle.

How do i find out? Its not like i can walk into the docs office and get an answer beyond the same "because youre doing steroids" response. And im not a scientist myself. I think if i do this again i should use specific ancillaries like hcg and needtos stuff then get bloodwork every 3 months. This is going to be trial and error im afraid.

Is it possible that your estradiol level shot up as well? E2 will latch on to Test. receptors and fool the body into thinking it's got enough. That can be one of the factors involved in shutdown.

By the way I am on TRT. Also use HCG to attempt to preserve what function is left and Arimidex to hold of estradiol surges.
