Well...
HST and DC really are very similar programs. They both discovered that high-frequency, low-volume programs grow muscle very very quickly. HST arrived at this conclusion based on labwork and studies, DC by practical experience. I do have a couple bones with the DC program, but they're really minor.
If someone says "Which should I do?" I say "if you like failure training do DC, if not do HST."
There is some physiological stuff that the DC program ignores, but it's reasonably on-target in terms of the principles of growth.
