Fitness Log for Thursday, January 4, 2007
- 15 minutes on the stairmill
- 7 minutes on the treadmill walking
Ok, and sadly that is all.
I was SO upset -- but honest to God, I felt sick. Ulter went with me this morning and I had the worst time getting out of bed... then I finally made it to the gym and had this lame-ass workout I am disappointed in.
So why sick AGAIN? Buffalo.
Yeah -- had a buffalo burger last night -- red meat -- and my stomach hates me for it. Luckily, after drinking some baking soda in water, my tummy settled and I quit feling sick by 10am... but man, I'm so annoyed.
It didn't help matters that my knees hurt like heck today... lots of rain here the last few days -- and then I got to school and my team leader (in middle school, you teach on teams) was bitching about SOMETHING right off the bat. Glorious.
I'm making the most of it, though. Surviving.
I'm due to lift tonight at the gym and I'm doing running club after school, but I hear we're not going too crazy at that. Lord knows, the kids didn't run over the holiday break like some of us did!
Not sure if I will do legs or upper body tonight. I'm sort of afraid to do legs 2 days before a 1/2 marathon. If I kill them and they are sore on Saturday for the run, I'll be real sorry... I guess I answered my own question!
