Thanks ducky babe! :) Yeah, I realized last night -- as I turned off my laptop to watch Mad Hot Ballroom (GREAT movie, by the way -- super cute to watch!) that I am now, like, 4 days behind on Nutrition Posts and 2 days behind on Fitness Updates.

I'm waiting for my friend here so that we can go to lunch -- she's finishing up with a client so I thought I'd pop on and see what I can do before she's read to go. :D

Today was a total DATE day! :D Went to the outlet malls where I bought last season's ranked running shoes from Nike (read: great shoes for running/walking but WAYYY cheaper!), some new training gloves (how often do you see a size SMALL glove for $3???), and a pair of shorts and capris that FIT. I also got to splurge on a pink ruffly skirt -- so I just felt AWESOME to be so girly. My hips were so big for so long that I just couldn't work the skirt because I was too hippy. *sigh*

Cardio = 60 minutes outdoor walk, first thing on an empty stomach. :verygood:

Lift = Day off from lifting. :qt:

Food = B was an ISO shake... and after that all I can remember is that I ate a healthy lunch and a healthy dinner -- BUT I ordered 1 Margarita at Bahamas Breeze for dinner... then Ulter ordered me a second one... so I knew it was a CHEAT meal!!! :spin::twirl::D Hooray! I also had DESSERT :qt: The Bananas Supreme -- hey, it had bananas... that makes it healthy!

Totals: Meh -- I was "ON" but the 2nd margarita and the dessert surely put me over -- but HOORAY for earning my cheat meal back! :D

Food AND EXERCISE Log for Tuesday, July 4, 2006
Knew I had a bit of a challenge on my hands today because I had no idea what I was eating for dinner that night while a guest at someone else's house. *sigh* I just aimed for high-protein during the day so at least I'd make my mark that way.

Cardio:

* No lifting today! Besides... I could barely WALK!!! LOL!

I seriously couldn't BELIEVE that I was RIGHT ON with my food choices! I just tried to make good choices and hoped for the best! Kept the carbs low and the protein higher -- and VOILA!!! :qt: Success! :D Practice makes perfect!

Yes... I'm still waiting to go to lunch... wonder if I can crank out one more day of food logs... hmmm... I think I'll go for it!

Food Log for Wednesday, July 5, 2006

Did my 60 minute morning cardio again this day... and my SuperSet for biceps and triceps (will post later) AND the additional 30 minutes of rowing AGAIN! I RULE! :D

B @ 10:30am PWO
3 scoops ISO-AGB in 1 L Crystal Light

L @ TGI Friday's @ 12:30pm
Bruchetta Tilapia
I knew this had 500 calories and about 10 grams of fat according to their menu... so I just worked my fitday until the calories from all parts of the meal added up to just that.
1.5 tilapia fillets
1 c. broccoli, fat not added in cooking
1/4 c. rice pilaf

S @ 4pm Post-Lift
2 scoops ISO-AGB in 1 L Crystal Light Ran out of ISO!

Had them swap the lemon butter sauce for marinara instead! Only ate 1 c. of the pasta and picked out all the veggies and seafood in the pasta
1 c. linguini
1/2 c. "ready-made" marinara sauce (used this on fitday because I knew it would include oil in the sauce)
8 large shrimp (baked)
1/2 c. boiled crabmeat

S @ 9:30pm

I am ALL CAUGHT UP with my Food Log now!!! :dance2::elephant::dance2::elephant: Hooray! :wavey: TTYL lovelies!

GREAT update!! Way to go!! I love morning walks too - 'cept it won't stop raining here so I can't seem to get them in....I'll have to come visit!! LOL

I love reading your mega updates....you always put enough personality into 'em to make it cute & funny!

I saw a Panera today and my first thought was "T-CAKE!!". :lmao:

I'll have to watch Mad Hot Ballroom now based on your recommendation. I liked Strictly Ballroom a lot from a long time ago. Btw, if you haven't already seen Devil Wears Prada, go ASAP. I'm quite sure you'll like it.

:heart::rose::bigkiss:

Actually, I saw it with her. It was me and 3 other guys in a theater full of women.

Sounds great living with someone who helps support you and assists you in your diet and training!!! AWESOME girl, Now are you not glad you moved?!?!? I got it figured I'm going to marry a personal trainer/nutritionist one day.. then they can put it all together and I will just follow it, :lmao:

Just so I don't get credit I don't deserve...

T-Cake only gets advice on changing her lifting routines and supplements from me. Her diet and everything else she does is all her doing. Originally she needed my help but now she's way past needing me. :)

Comparison Photos
Disclaimer: For those of you who would like to see how hard I'm working aside from my obvious diet and workout logs... here is a look at what I look like. They are not pretty -- I am a normal girl who works a normal job. I'm not a competitor -- but I was 260 lbs at one time... and so there's excess skin and flab. Not what you usually see here on EF... it's not pretty -- but I'm here to show myself and everyone else how hard I work and how proud of myself I am. SO... if you don't like it -- step off. If you got props for me -- then bring it on!

Front and Side BEFORE Photo = Feb. 17 (2 weeks into training via Ulter's advice)
Front and Side AFTER Photo = June 5 (yes, I need new pictures -- I'm about 6 lbs lighter NOW)

Back Comparison = March 30th vs. June 5th -- didn't take back shots until much later.

OK, that is by far the hardest thing I've ever posted on here... and I will probably yank them off at some point. I have BEFORE (like at 260) photos somewhere on this thread I think... or on my website which I have linked in my profile... but this is what I have accomplished since February. Thank you for looking.

OMG, Fantabulous!! You are definitely rawking!!
;) And congrats on the weight loss and the marathon entry and trying so many new things, and, and .... Well you know all those good things! :jump:
