Lots of info out there about 5x5 stuff, and not surprisingly lots of varations of how to do it right. Could someone link me to a site that shows "the best" and most straightforward method of a true 5x5 - weight increments by %, rest between sets, etc. etc. Thanks!

quick bump. repetitive thread i know. just looking for a solid link that fully explains a successful and true 5x5. PM me or post. Thanks bros. Mad karma for a link.

this is the one that seems to be most popular, although some people say its for intermediate's I dont see much wrong with a beginner doing it, lifts are pretty frequent with lots of sets so allows for the trainer to learn proper form and the linear progression with planned deload is a good idea...

5x5 Calculator

there are alot of variations of the 5x5 though and I cant comment on which is best or how good each of them work...

Yep the link that EM posted and the one in my location nder my pic is the legit one. Basically the point is to add 5lbs aweek to your bench/military and 10lbs/week to your deadift and squat. But the less jumps you make, the more gains youll make in the long run. I only use the calculator to figure out the first 4 weeks of weights then i just add 5 or 10lbs to my lifts a week.
