Stairs....CARDIO?

Hey:/

during school i walk about 6flight of stairs up about 3-4x daily and back down...........I was wondering how many calories I Burn about each time i walk those 6flights of stairs..The reason i ask is because I am cutting and i dont do CARDIO(THREADMILL,or anything else) but the stair walking does work it,when i reach the 6th floor i am breathing somewhat heavy,some days out of breath...Knowing how many cals i burned from the stairs i can increase carbs somewhat so i wont feel wornout........THX

Point of Clarification:
Climbing a flight of stairs on the way to work is LIGHT cardio and is burning more calories than taking the elev. But I would not count it as "DOING CARDIO"

In order to be "DOING CARDIO" as diamond stated, it needs to be of a longer duration and intensity and you had better break a BIG MOFO sweat !

By the way.. Keep taking the stairs..

if you are cutting, and taking the stairs, just look at it like free calorie burning. dont up your cals to compensate just enjoy the extra work you get done. hopefully you are in a calorie deficit while "cutting" so its just an added benefit. if you are earnestly cutting though, and not doing cardio, you are taking the long way by just relying on diet to get you there.
 
i lost fat and toned my body with hardly any 20mins cardio sessions it was all diet and training HARD and eating more protein moderate carbs ,low fat:) 6weeks but i just wanna loose about a few more lbs before i maintain but starting to get the feeling to PIGG OUT cause of them stairs
