Up until recently i havent suited up to squat since last summer. Well lately i been squatting the last couple of weeks with my straps down, and PR'd over last yr squat with straps up. Problem is last night th estraps went up for the final two squats of the night, and since i have had those straps up last, i am quite a bit heavier. I got my hardcore when i was around 220lbs. I even got it smaller then. Well now at 250lbs the bottoms feel excellent. But when the straps when up for my first attempt Even though i got the lift, it was out of my normal groove. I couldnt arch, I also couldnt get a deep breath before the decend. So on the second attempt which i got a new PR so i am happy a bit , the same thing happen. I was ou tof groove and felt totally awkward. Mainly cause the straps have gotten to freakin tight. Well i am ordering the canvas as we speak, but i am not going to throw away my hardcore that has been used in one meet and a few gym lifts. My question is do i get rid of it or can i had length to the straps? Or should i get used to this way different groove and keep it like it is? We pulled on it so i could get room in it nothing. If you do pull it up one way over th eother you pull the front out right? I guess in the past i have been lucky that all my suits fit like they come. I do have other suits but i aint using them. I want to use th ebest. Any suggestions?
