ok do you guys recommend simple carbs when cutting? i am currently training in the morning at 6:00am,30mins after i wake up, as soon as i rise i have 30g whey and 30g glucose thats pre work out and 30grams whey and 50grams glucose post work out,i want to know if i should change this?

Glucose in the diet? I think you may have to see how well it works for you but I am often torn about advising anyone to eat glucose.

1. It is all about the calorie balance, so really what you eat is not as important, but it is important to develop healthy eating patterns, and taking in glucose may just carry on a sugar addiction.

2. It is better to eat whole natural foods because of the thermogenic properties of real food

3. Eating glucose is not really a part of a healthy BBing lifestyle IMHO, I would prefer simple sugars as fruits, and post workout

If you want to low carb it, but still have a few simple sugars, look into timed ketogenic diets.

my prefernce when cutting would be AM "fasted" cardio (with some bcaa or leucine and glutamine in your system). less cortisol more retained muscle, and no dulling of fat burning. training in afternoon or PM.

but that said, waking moderate simple carbs will replenish liver glycogen (not be stored as fat as long as not excessive) and moderate PWO simple sugars (preferably dextrose or waxy maize startch) will replenish muscle glycogen and not be stored as fat.

studies have shown each ^^ will not impair fat loss
