The gym was closed on forth of july so i had to improvise. I went to my shed and did pullups on the rafters and told myself i wasnt leaving until i did 50. well it took me about 45 minutes and my lats, not to mention the rest of my back is still hurting today, 3 days later  so should i still try to bench press today? Or should i wait until my back feels better and i can get a good workout?

You can go ahead and train.

My training routine is designed where I train half the body in one day. . this helps eliminate these types of problems.

Here is what I follow:

Day 1 - Chest, Delts, Triceps, and Back

Day 2 - OFF

Day 3 - Biceps, Forearms, Calves, Quads, and Hams

Day 4 OFF

Day 5 Repeat Cycle

This is a low volume program and is instrumental in building strength and size.

I wouldnt like to train flat or decline bench with very sore lats, but a bit of stiffness would be ok. If you think it will effect you, why not do mainly incline moves which takes the pressure off of the lats a little...
