should I add a RTD shake during the middle of the night if I'm trying to cut?

OK, this is the first time I've done a cutter cycle and I'm diving head first into the strict diet which it envolves. I eat 5-6 meals per day, all with carbs, up until the last meal (11:00 PM) which is a protein only shake. Will it help to the diet to set my alarm for 3:00am in order to slam a RTD shake like a Lean Body? or will it just add more calories that I'll have trouble burning off? I'm a little confused, I thought the more meals you ate during the day, the faster your metabolism is. Oh, and I'm doing at least 20 min. cardio post workout everyday. any help is appreciated. thanks.

Total calories are what is important when dieting - you need to burn more than you use. If you do that, remove some calories from the rest of your day. It is ideal to space out your food evenly, but I don't think the shake thing in the middle of the night will make that much difference - maybe but not if it is IN ADDITION to your regular diet. That will hinder fat loss.
