not true. I work and I pay for my kids. both my kids came from men I married. one dad is awesome, helps every month and is very involved. Thankfully we have retained a great relationship.
my youngest son's Dad told me he wanted a baby, I got pregnant and he decided AFTER he didn't want him... crazy fuck.
anywho, we divorced and I told him to take a friggin leap, I'm fully capable of taking care of my kids on my own. then the fucker comes back after my son is born wanting to be a "disneyland dad", talk about frustrating.

bottom line in my situation, my X and my son see eachother when they want. My X doesnt help me for jackshit, but I refuse to use my son as a pawn so I suck it up. I take care of him myself. My son will formulate his own opinion on his dad as he ages, I will not influence him either way, good or bad.. I want him to have a safe, fun and carefree childhood...
so no, I carried my kids and I pay for them too... it is and will always be MY choice... no one will ever tell me what I will do with my body.

Speaking from a moral stand point - yes, but people, in general are irresponsible, fickle and selfish so the reality is that what is appropriate or not in most cases was never a thought prior to the situation so I doubt it would be a consideration after.

It is about two people being responsible beforehand.
