Shift Diet Progress

I am on my 9th day of Mr X's shift diet. Lost 6lbs and looking much better. I have been the same weight since last day of stage 2 (5 days ago), I have done stage 3 for 4 days as stated and due to carb -up tomorrow.

? - Is there any reason why my weight has not reduced for the last 5 days? I have checked 2/3 times a day to ensure still in ketosis and have not come out of it to my knowledge & not cheated.

? - I found it really difficult to keep to diet at weekends can I prolong ketosis until Sat (an extra3 days) and carb up on Sat instead of tomorrow? Then I can continue the diet as per your manual with carb ups every Sat? or do you not recommend this?

Your help would be appreciated?

Carb-Up, weigh yourself, then 3 days later check your weight again...remember, weight is not the big factor, because you can be gaining muscle mass, while losing fat.
1)You might be retaining water, but still dropping fat
2)Yes, you can switch the diet around so your carb-up is on sat....Yes, you can carb-up every sat. , just rethink the program your way....I say this is ok, I do recommend following the schedule I've put together because it creates a certain cycle so your body does not get used to it or slow down the metabolic rate.

Thanks Mr X you're a star,

It is that time of the month soon! Maybe that is causing me to retain water. If ok I'll continue Stage 2 for 3 more days and carb up on Sat, then stick to the manual.
