lol... I wish! ... thanks for the input, I'd give you K but it seems I have already!
yep
no worries
check my yummy thread for recipes and food hints
wonder why you are paying so much
shop around new england should not be that bloody expensive

thats too much... i get rib eye steaks here for less than that... fuckin beautiful ones...
top i would pay is 5ish...
it can be found for 3-4 though...

Not the best, but I wait for grocery stores to have sales on the frozen ones. Mahi-mahi, tilapia, salmon, and cod usually 10 for $10 4-6oz fillets

thanks all, this is an old poll.

I don't eat fish regularly anymore... can't stand it for the most part; besides sushi occasionally now.

EDIT: WTF  ... this popped up in my subscribes just a few minutes ago... last post August! I hate when that happens

wild Alaskan salmon. Whole fish. 2lbs for $3.

I think I could afford it.
I guess i get it really cheap.

I pick it up at local fish market here in NJ - Pretty good - Not sure if wild but really nice always about $7.99 a pound fresh

Is ~ $9.00 / pound "normal?"

How much does everyone pay for this great fish?
I pay $18/pound for wild Atlantic salmon (i.e., not farm raised, less risk of PCB's, mercury, etc.). This is probably unnecessary if you don't eat salmon that much, but I eat it two-three times per week.

I've always wondered, is the guy really selling me wild salmon, or is he just marking up the price of farm raised salmon and claiming it's wild salmon?
