Recovery log after surgery

Ok been away a while.
Had my surgery last friday.
Been crazy since.
They Gave me a Nerve block before the surgery. Guided a needle into the nerve in my neck. It made it so i could not move or feel my right shoulder or arm at all. Felt very weird.
Repaired the labrum, rotator and reattached my bicep tendon. Who knew it was so much ....they did some other work as well but i dont remember the exact info..
Had some issues after with o2 until they could get my saturation level back up.
Then early Monday morning had a scare my leg ankle and foot swelled pretty bad. Had to rush to get sonogram. No clots thank goodness.
Everything is good. Not sure why my leg swelled so bad. Still have swelling but not as bad.
Im in a sling and an immobilizer. So that i dont move my arm /shoulder. This is my right arm so bare with me. Im right handed. Everything is much harder. Especially since my arm is stuck in this position with this block strapped around me and my sling is velcroed to the block and hands around my neck. sleep sucks, moving Sucks. Im in pain.(to be expected)
I see the doc within 2 weeks.
The plan.
I have a good stash of PSL tb500 that i will incorporate into my recovery. I will log my progress and details. Also will be getting some bpc157.
Sorry i havent been on as much the last week and a half. This is why.







 
Recover well bud. I have always been super interested in these healing peptides. I have a shoulder that has been causing me pain for a few years now. Been wanting to try them. Keep us updated!
 
Sorry guys.
Bpc is 250 x 2 although i have a friend who used his all 500mcg at night. One time one dosage and worked wonders.
Tb500 probable going 4mg a week i may split the pinning 2 or 3 days.

Everything is body weight only.(for now)
Twice a day i remove the sling/abductor and allow my arm to hang at my side and naturally stretch the bicep a little.
3 sets of curls(body weight) only moving from below the elbow.
3 sets of squats for now.
15 minutes Knee ups
3 sets of Lunges each way (6 sets total)15 reps eachway
30 min - steps
About 25 minutes of walking.
Sleep sucks bad. Cant sleep worth shit at night. Been nodding off 3-4hrs in the morning.
Been taking red bali caps for the pain. Helps a ton!
Still feel like im going crazy. Been stuck in this house a little over 2 weeks.. Torture... I cant get away from anyone....lmao
Seems most of my pain is after sleeping and some soreness after arm movement. Mainly the the upper bicep and at the shoulder where it was reattached.
Tomorrow i will call and set up P/T/rehab. Twice a week for 16 weeks.
 
Today just finished 38 minute walk on the treadmill.
Fluctuating speed between 2.5 and 3.5. There seems to be be some jerking/jaring of the shoulder above 3.5mph.
Incline between 1.0- 5.0. Changed speed and incline every 5 minutes.
Followed by arm curls.(body weight only). 3 sets between 6-8reps
Tomorrow begins therapy.
Took somw pre-workout before i began.
Its called stereotype. Definitely a good pre-workout .
I will do some other exercises this evening. Update then.

You guys and girls are getting a first look at PSL Bpc157!!!
Switching rehab/therapist back to where my surgery was done.
Had a few concerns about the location and therapist i went to. A few people i talked to highly recommend to not use this location or company. There exact words
"They are the McDonald's of therapy/rehab"
This was a stranger speaking to me out of the blue. About 1hr later another woman stopped me and asked what happened. I told her and she aslo had bad things to say about this place. She was a nurse who worked in ortho
Dept. For union memorial.
Today i havent done much, Tomorrow I will begin gym work. Update more before the nights out.
 
A little better last 2 days. Taking very hot showers. I place rag over the shoulder while i shower creating constant moist heat. Allowing the shower water to hit my shoulder alao at times in different areas. Feels similar to ems. Then im able to get a better stretch and a better range on the upward curling motion. I had been stuck at about 2-3". I believe im almost half way on the curl now.
Tomorrow i go back to my original therapist office. So let see what they do and say. Will update from there hopefully with some pics of equipement and such. Appointment isn't until 3. I will do more cardio(lol) walking in the am. Gonna be going to 2 a days on the treadmill and hopefully gym in the am for legs .
 
Therapy today.. Absolutely awesome. So glad i switched! Went thru everything... injury, how it happened, surgery, post op, even my last therapy appointment..
Did measurements on left arm for upward range of motion(fully curled position) and then again in a fully extended postion with my arm down at my side.
Refer to post #37 i believe for instructions and therapy.
Today was great. I experienced some pain and tightness at first. Next thing i knew i was on my back laying on the table and i was being manipulated.
Seriously she was great. Extending the arm nd increasing motion toward the front was surprising.
Then she worked the arm and extension/flexion toward the side. Painful at first then i could feel more of the stretch and almost no pain.
Then she worked on my neck and shoulder/delt . massaging and stretching the muscles... Felt amazing..
After i performed
scapular retractions
Repeat 10x hold for 5 sec.
2 sets will perform twice daily

Upper trap stretch
Repeat 1x hold 30 sec
2 sets 2x ed

Pendulum circles
2 sets each direction 1x ed

Ball squeeze
Repeat 10x , hold 5 sec

This was my day at therapy..

Now i dont want to jump the gun but... There is a huge difference from the last 2 days and todays range of motion.
Today is day 2 of bpc.
 
Im on the road to recovery so this is the start FINALLY!!
TODAY FINISHED OFF 40 minutes treadmill.
Incline 3.-4. Speed between 3.2 and 4. Also
A Mile right now is about 18 minutes. Trying to increase this ed. By a little while increasing incline height.
Perfomed my daily stretches and movements.
scapular retractions
Repeat 10x hold for 5 sec.
2 sets will perform twice daily

Upper trap stretch
Repeat 1x hold 30 sec
2 sets 2x ed

Pendulum circles
2 sets each direction 1x ed

Ball squeeze
Repeat 10x , hold 5 sec
3 sets 3 x ed

Wrist supination stretch

Arm- upper bicep is so swollen it crazy...
Gonna get this ice going again. Should help some.
Also glad i have red bali caps. Truly helps so much with pain and allows me to relax and sleep.. Id be lost without them.
Will be pinning 1mg tb500/500mcg BPC157 tonight.

Forgot to update yesterday. Sorry guys.
this was day 3. For Protocol purposes since that ia when i began the combo.
Finished off 25 minutes of treadmill before i was told it is to late, to much noise.etc.... Blah blah blah..
Did some squats and lunges..
I need to start driving. The sooner the better! Then i can hit the gym every dam night for cardio, or legs, stretching etc.
1ml tb500/ 500mcg bpc 157
Some better overall function with my right arm.
I actually was able to use it eating my dinner . This makes me very happy and excited.
Arm is still deformed looking. Upper bicep is bigger(very swollen) and no lower bicep.
Ihave my appointment tomorrow for therapy. Im really looking forward to seeing how much mobility and range of motion ive improved since yesterday!...?????? And since starting this protocol. I feel this has really begun helping tremendously!

Used the cryo ice therapy. Tonight. Will be using this a few times a day to see if this will help with some of this swelling.
Off to take some red bali caps and hopefully off to bed. Update in the morning.
Also Had 1 scoop of some ON protein(flavor) cookies and cream.
 
Day 4 protocol
Ok. Had therapy today. Added some exercises. I was a little stiff at first. A little sore but ..it didnt last long. My range of motion has increased so much in 3 days. My arm is almoat at full extension down at my side with very little bend. I was doing full straightening of the arm and stretching pulling/flexing the fingers backward. Then followed by flexing/stretching forearm .
Again...she had me laying on my back with my arm between her arms and hands keep arm fully extended and working on raising my arm to a 90 degree angle. Front of shoulder was painful. Not nearly like the first time. She would work on this amd massaging the shoulder and next thing i new...BAM my arm was gliding up and down freely almost pain free.. She was surprised. And made a comment about it how on only the second time my arm was gliding and moving very well.
We then proceeded to work the arm straight out to the side, in a fully extended position. Again I experienced some pain and tightness like a rubber band. She worked the shoulder and messaged the shoulder. After a few passes we were at 90 degrees. Straight out to the side was more painful. BUT nothing like the last time.

Repeat 10x for 5 sec.

Upper trap stretch
Both sides Repeat 3x hold 30 sec

Pendulum circles
3 sets each direction about 20 sec each time

This completed my therapy today. I dont think i missed anything. I will repeat stretching at home 1-2x ed. As much as i can.
Bicep is swollen ... Crazy how swollen it is... I hope this isnt going to be an issue. Hopefully this is holding a shit ton of water.

Day 7 protocol
Ok last few days had to lay off. Ended up going to the doc
After a few days of self medication. (Asthma). Nothing was working. Anyway had to get dreaded prednisone anew antibiotic. Seems to be helping so far.
Today was therapy.
Introduced Electric stimulation. Upper shoulder/clavical.
Created a shrugging motion/retraction. Lasted for 20minutes.
Also introduced a band version of a forward delt raise.
Hands were in front about 45-60degrees and pull downward so each hand come down to my side allowing the tension to pull my arms back to a forward position allowing a nice stretch (hold for 5 seconds)
Another new movement.
Lying on my back using my left arm,i hold this 2-3 foot 1" pvc pipe. At the top it is in The shape of a T. This ianwhat it looks like actually. The letter. (T.) So with my right hand i hold the top cross section. Now i use my right hand to push the T in an upward position across my body into the air while hold the top with my right hand.

Repeat 10x for 5 sec.

Upper trap stretch
Both sides Repeat 3x hold 30 sec

Pendulum circles

Its like doing a forward delt raise laying on your back. The only difference is all the weight is on my left arm by pushing the T im holding the top stretching the shoulder a little further and holding it at the highest point with the most tension. I did this 20x.
Will be starting my protocol back tonight.
Getting on the treadmill now. Update more as i go.

Yesterday did the treadmill one time. Still hocking up a lot of phlegm and thick mucus! Come on the 27th. Hopefully i can get out of this sling. We will see.
Started incorporating some light band work on the left side.
Forward and side delt raise. 3 sets x 8
3 sets of hammer curls x 8
3 sets of supination curls x 8
3 sets of one arm shoulder press x8.
Everything is light but dont want to cause any unwanted stress on my right side from using the left. So im feeling things out as i go.
Sleep is still horrible. I dint get to sleep til about 5am or so.
Usually the best sleep i have is between 8-12am.
Today is day 8 protocol. 500mcg bpc157.
Definitely feelnas though it is helping a lot. Everytime i go to therapy they are very surprised how much better and smoother my range of motion has become with the protocol they have for me.
My hair seems to be growing faster my nails harder and longer. Looking Forward to see what the next few weeks have in store for me.
Will begin some stretching soon and update my daily plan.
 
Last few days have been very sore In one spot where there is an incision. Think ive been over doing it a bit. Although i feel like this is moving much slower than i originally anticipated. It hasnt been 5 weeks from surgery. Been going to therapy for about 2-3weeks total. and im doing great according to my therapist. Range of motion is well beyond what they would have expected. She did some added massage therapy.. Upper pec into the front head of the shoulder and down the bicep. Seemed to help but this swelling doesnt seem to want to subside at all. Just finished off 25minutes on the treadmill. Once earlier today for about 30minutes.
Im finally back to being able to breathe properly.
Tonight day 13 bpc157 only
Nails seem to grow much thicker and faster. As does my hair. Skin is feeling a little smoother. Wish there was something to do about this swelling.
Use of arm is still pretty much nothing.
I have therapy tomorrow. One week til i see my surgeon and see what the new plan will be or if nothing will change.
Feel like im going crazy. Having to rely on everyone and wait for someone to help with almost everythings plays with your head. Im getting bloodwork done this week.
Let see where my levels are at.
Ill be around now that im up and (not sick)feeling more like myself.
If ive never said this before. I hate prednisone!! The side effects are horrible. Avoid it if possible..

Just finished off 35 minutes on the treadmill. Still can only walk no jogging or anything jaring to the shoulder. Still in the sling.
Today i started 30 second of HIIT so to speak. Avg pace is 3.2mph walking on a
2.5 -3%incline. So every 2 minutes i will increase speed to 3.9 for 30 sec lol... But it is as safe and fast as i can go for now. With one arm. Follwing the 35 minutes with a 3 minute cooldown (1.5 - 2.0mph)
2nd salad today although this is smaller.
Grill chicken, pepperoncini peppers, stuffed green olives, pepperoni, cherry tomatoes, parm cheese. Lemon juice, black pepper, parm cheese, italian seasoning.

The the log will get better, right now it is still slow until i can actually drive..
Once this happens i will have a lot more to report and be able to do. I have therapy again monday.
Wednesday i see my ortho. Waiting to see what she says about this swelling and. How far along i am. Hopefully i will be outta this sling.


Freshly made fried rice with egg, shrimp and chicken from kobe.
This will not be eaten all at one sitting.
This will be split between 2 or 3 meals.
Will be dropping total calories down starting monday. Also will change up some macros.

Sorry everyone. Things have been getting harder. Had to deal with and keep my medical/dental/ vision insurance from being canceled. Since ive been out of work i have to pay the premiums out of pocket. Other wise im dropped and would have to pick up cobra. So had to kick out around 450 for the first month.
Saw my ortho. She said im doing ..well. That this is the hardest surgery she does to recover from. (Rotator with labral/bicep tenodesis. Ive only been in therapy about 3 weeks. 2 times a week. She compared where i am to 10 weeks along. The sling has come off.
Since the 27th . since then dam im sore and hurting. Swelling is still there and makes things very awkward.
Firdt day out of the sling my arm felt like it was in the wrong position. Like it was sitting out of place. I was kinda worried. But i believe it is from the sleeves of my shirt and/or jacket twisting in the upper arm/ arm pit area. Feels like it pulls the arm outta socket and forward.
Now i had been released to go to work if they can accommodate my conditions. I was upset with this.
Conditions are desk work/sedentary. Able to perform basic ADL's(activities of daily living) such as feeding myself, brushing my teeth, trying to comb my hair. No repetitive reaching or extending. No reaching above chest level. No trying to reach behind me. or out to the side. No lifting above 1lb.
Driving is still an issue. I cannot use my right arm so turning right is a problem. The seatbelt is a problem.
This week i start more aggressive therapy now that im outta the sling. Im suppose to return to work on the 8th.
But we will see if they can accommodate me. Lol..
Im icing more often now that im outta the sling.
Starting isometeics. Therapy has been increased now to 3x a weeks for the next 8 weeks.

Had some other issue's we are trying to deal with. Found out everything we have had in storage for the last 3 yrs is gonna have to be trashed. (All of our belongings from when we had to move) the unit ia infested with rodents. This is very upsetting. Much of this cannot be replaced. (Personal stuff memories)This unit was holding everything for a single family home.

First Extending above the head. When done i extend up above the delt and hold for 3 seconds or so.

Side delt raises as high as i could go. (Half way between shoulder and waist)
Delt raises between forward and side. Kinda on an angle.
Thumb upward.

This isnt exactly what was done . i had some other stuff done to the rotator and socket ,But this will show you how they attach my bicep back down to the humerus bone and applied sutures. I dont believe this one shows how they pull out the tendon through the incision outside of the body and cut off what is being removed and attaching the stitching into the end of the tendon.​


 
Here is another surgery except they make a fourth incision in the under pec to re connect it.
This is a better pocture and more detail.

[FONT=&quot]This is nothing like what i remember from yrs ago when i had surgery on my left shoulder. [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Come to find out. The reason is due to the tear being greater than 50%. I feel as if my arm is being twisted at the front of the shoulder/pec area. My bicep(right arm) seems to have disappeared. Everything feels awkwardly. Supposedly this is normal. Doing wrist curls and reverse wrist curls i feel it in my shoulder. (WHO KNEW?) I will begin posting daily again. Im a bit depressed. Having to go back to work monday really has my mind blown. Ive been out of the immobilizer+sling for about a week. I find myself still not sleeping. Sitting up seems to be the best position still. [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]According to therapy i am 3-4 weeks ahead of schedule. [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Flexability and range of motion is great, which they say is the hardest part. Im upset i havent been cleared to jog yet. 3 months is when i will be able to cardio!!! [/FONT]

so things are moving along. Im very sore. Seems that this recovery is gonna take longer than anticipated to heal to the point i regain normal mobility. Been kinda agitated.
On a positive note. Had bloodwork done today for trt/hrt. Here is what was tested.

Will post results when i get them.
I drove for the first time today. Took myself to get my bloodwork.
These means i will begin hitting the gym for some legs and cardio. Still no jogging or bouncing.
This reattachment is so awkard. I have constant pain/soreness in the side of the delt. Throughout the day i have these shooting pains that kinda stop me in my tracks. I just close my eyes for a few moments and rub my shoulder. It comes in bunches. Then i continue on with whatever i am doing.
Here is some equipment from where i have therapy. This is called an anti gravity treadmill.. Cost 40k.

Never seen one until going here.
Therapy has increased and starting monday i will begin using bicep and tricep exercises.
Will see if i can get a printout of what is done. Actually let me go through some papers i may what we are going to focus on.

So here is where i am. Week 9.
This process has been slow. And surprisingly painful. I only say this because i handle pain very well. Although i question myself now.
Also, not sure if i just nit pickat every little thing i feel or experience, But i pay attention to every click, popping, or snapping sound.
Ive also had cupping done a session before last. The therapist believes im having certain issues because of the right scapula/shoulder blade and lack of use. So she has been doing a massage/release in and around the right scapula/ shoulder blade.
Afterwards i am able to Almost fully do the above the head stretch/arm extention above head from laying on my back on the table without pain. Yesterday i was out for a bit witht the kids just walking in the park and allowing the kids to ride their scooters and skateboards was having some pains around the right scapula/shoulder blade. I will ask about this monday when i see the therapist.
It Was different. Never had this pain before.
My arm fatigues very quickly. Shakes often when im trying tonl use it for basic things. Feels heavy. Im very uncomfortable most of the day and especially when trying to sleep.

I have two links if anyone is interested to understand the different methods of performing bicep tenodesis. Depending on injury. How active you are , age, how soon the injury is taken care of.
I had what was considered slap. Along with
Rotator/labrum tears. Damage/malformation of the socket. And some other things.
After reading these if anyone has any questions i can go over what was done to me. And go over my initial evaluation/mri and then the actual surgery. Sleeping sucks. Im very sore and in pain. Seems like my hand swells up at night trying to lay on my side and have alot more sharp pain/ splintering feeling. Compared to Like when breaking a chicken bone. My shoulder feels like it is always being pulled forward and inward to my pec.
 
Today therapy was split between 2 people. My normal therapist and an assistant.
Always start off with stim .
Followed by stretching out the shoulder and bicep, laying on th3 table while the therapist manipulates the arm.
Next she does a scapula massage/ work.

Next. Laying on my side do shrugs.
In a circular motion clockwise then counter. Clock wise 2 top
2 back 2 bottom 2 forward equals 1. Rotation. So we do 30 in both directions.
Laying on my back t bar extensions above the head and then out to the shoulder. 30 reps both exercises. Hold 5 sec.

Laying on my side. Elbow on my side 90%.
Side laying external rotation. (Forgot the name of exercise...lmao)1lb weight
Wrist curls. 5lbs(very light)
Bicep curls 3lbs and 5lbs sets of 20 x2
Reverse curls 3lbs and 5lbs 20reps x 2
Hand Grip (blackcolor)
30 squeezes hold each for 5 seconds.

Isometrics using the wall 2 sets of each 30sec hold each.
Delt raises
Forward, top -of palm against the wall,
side -top of palm against the wall
rear -palm pressing against the wall
Standing palm against the wall elbow bent at the side 90% press inward with palm
Back of palm against the wall bent at elbow 90% angle press outward against the wall

Delt raises. 2 sets 20 reps hold 5 sec thumb upward
1.Forward
2.Between forward and side about 2 oclock position
3. Side raises. Raise the arm. Just under half way.

Low rows with blue bands. 2 sets x 20reps hold 5 sec

Tricep pushdowns with blue bands
2 sets 20 reps slow controlled for a 3 sec hold
2 sets 20 reps hold 5 sec standing lat pull downs with blue bands
Standing wall reach/extentions. W/towel. Trying to reach up the wall with my hand on the towel. 1 set 20 reps
Side: Cannot do these. My arm cannot turn to the side with my hand up(like when you wave to someone).

Cryo ice therapy for the shoulder 15 minutes. Done.
Oh drove for the first time today...bada bing
 
This is very different than having what i call normal rotator cuff or labrum surgery.

Put both your hands up in front of you. Like your gonna smack hands with someone or play patty cake.

With your palms facing outward i can rotate the left hand/arm to the left side of my body.

Cant do that at all on the right side. I Can move my right hand/arm to the right about 3-4"from patty cake position un front of my body... 3-4" inches.... Wtf. There is no rotating to the side at all.. This is the first time trying these today.. This sucks and is very painful. Its like there is no longer a socket for the arm to rotate freely in. Like there is a block wall on the right side of my body against my upper arm, and shoulder.

I hope this new bicep tendon placement isnt the cause. If so, i hope this will not be a problem now. This is the Beginning of 5 weeks into therapy.

To be accurate today is the 13th therapy visit

Been doing hills the last few days.

About 45 minutes to an hr. Shins are dam killing me. See the ortho Wednesday. Cant wait. Need approval to start real cardio. Running/jogging etc. Gonna see if im able to do any body weight exercises.

Ive been going over some things.

Restrictions after 20 weeks are Kinda upsetting. So i am gonna have to see what kind of alternatives i have.

Therapy is dam killing me. I feel like a total newb. I push myself so hard by the time therapy/rehab is over. My arm is shaking so bad.. Lol.

So we have added many more exercises.

Everything is 3-5sec hold x2sets

Side lying external rotation with 3lb weight.

Hold for 5 sec repeat 20 reps x 2sets

Low rows with bands

Hold a band between both hands palm up in front of me , elbows at my sides. Pull outward to the sides with both hands Keeping elbows down at my side. 20 x 2sets

Standing with bands.

Elbows down to the side , hand in front of me i perform and external rotation 20 reps x2

Followed by internal rotation with band.

20rep x 2

Tricep extension 2 sets black bands

5 sec down , hold for 3 sec,...slowly retract 5 sec to starting position

Wall presses w/ towel. Forward and side.

These kill me.im so spent when doing these.

It takes everything i have to push up the wall.

I can get about 3/4 with elbow in front of my body. I cannot yet rotate my arm enough to do a proper pressing motion. Cannot get the elbow/ arm to the side of my body and hand upward as if im doing a press. It will take some time.

Bench press (lol)

Laying on my back i have a pvc 1"pipe with an ankle weight wrapped around it.

I do 25 or more presses...very slowly down and up count to about 7 each way.

Laying on my stomach on the table with my right arm hanging off the side i do a

one arm row

Reverse fly /Read delt raise

Then keeping my arm in a straightened position hanging off the table i raise my arm to my butt.. Behind me without causing pain.

Plus all my normal exercises and stim. Finish with ice.. Done in about 2 hrs

See the ortho Wednesday.

More physical and strenuous Stretching should be in the works. Also, im pushing for my cardio jogging/running and see about pushups. Evennif she will allow them from my knees i will take it.. Better than nothing.

Hopefully there will be good news. I know the hard stuff(pain) will be coming.. Im looking forward to whatever gets my range of motion back. Im about 40 % right now.. It sucks ...i can tell you that. Bring on the pain. Just get me back to normal...
 
Been a long day with the dr.
Saw the ortho today. She said im very tight. (Tendons).
She said the tear was pretty severe she is not surprised.
Gonna add in overhead pulleys. To help with range of motion and stretching the tendons.
Work Restrictions are the same. Nothing has changed for now.
So dont know what work will do or how they will react. Had to send everything to my lawyer and work. I am to continue therapy 2x a week. See her again in 8 weeks.
She said closer to 6 month range for better range of motion better flexability.. /
Im able to jog /run. Do cardio. I was told do not push the arm past the point of exhaustion.
Even discussed my trt and referred me to a dr. In house.
 
Went on a family vacation for a week.
Nurse even called me twice on vacation.
Next she called my therapist boss to try and get her in trouble.
Since ive been back we changed up a bunch exercises.
Added foam roller straight up and down the center of my back. I roll on it from left clavical tonright clavical.
Also on the foam roaller we do a (pec )flyes no weights. 2 sets
Also on foam roller we do an OH stretch try and touch the ground and then bring hands back to my chest.
All exercises have increased in weight.
Black bands on all exercises that i use bands.
While doing tricep ext/kickbacks. The right side/band snapped...lol i apologized. They said they have more.. I waited to do triceps last. Didn't want to wear down the bicep and shoulder.
Curls im on 7lbs. Will ask for 10lbs next week. They had me on 5lbs. Talked em up to 7lbs. Hope this iant the max lbs they have.
My range of motion has increased a lot. I can now get deodorant on both arms without using the wall or only my left hand for both sides.
Gonna start back up on my bpc157. See the ortho again on the 3rd of july. So i wanna press things a little now. I believe now the anchor in the shoulder for the bicep is stable and shouldnt come out. Now its all about getting range of motion back and strength. Still cant wipe my ass with my right hand.
Need to get the backward range of motion back. Cant bring my right hand up behind my back at all. I can only get to mid ass cheek.. Lol
Also, still cant rotate my arm into a shoulder press position.
Getting better, but a very slow process.
 
Forgot to mention ive started doing wall pushups.. At therapy

1.Regular hand spread
2.Military hand placement
3.Diamonds
3 sets of each she said 10
So i did 15
So i did these like a superset 1/2/3
30 sec break. Repeat. Repeat again.
 
todays therapy
Before we began everything i decided to talk about my shoulder in detail and really press the issue about there seems to be no rotation in the socket.
She agreed it seems to be froze/bound up.
So we changed some stretching and table work. Placing a ball behind my delt pressing the shoulder forward and with my arm out to the side in a 90 degree angle , i would push her hand with an internal rotation for 10 seconds. The allow the forearm to fall back like flexing my bicep(position). Each time i had a better stretch allowing my arm to fall back closer to a normal flexing position.
Dam i was sore and im sure i will be sore later but its well worth it. I wiah we had begun these sooner.
I did all my normal exercise. Lasted about 1.5hrs of therapy.
Afterward i went to the gym.
35 minutes of the arch trainer.. Added 3 minutes was of a cool down. 4 , 3, 2 done.
I would go 3 minutes level 8 incline 1minute level 4 and repeat. Until finished. Resistance stayed the same at 10.

Will go back tonight to Do more cardio and get in a real workout and stretch.
Ive been cleared for a bunch of tricep exercises, some closer grip pulling exercises, Rows , some bicep work, also.
Legs.
 
last night hit the gym again about 11:30pm. got outta the gym about 1:10am.
Started off 15minutes arch trainer
Leg extentions
Leg curls
Seated calf raises
One arm preacher curl
Tricep ext. 3 sets workwd up to 100lbs. Was worried about putting pressure on the front of the shoulder so kept things lighter than normal. But better than doing no weights.. Had a good pump. Changed grips from a v grip to straight bar. Only did 2 sets with the straight bar. I could definitely feel more of a pull in the front on the right shoulder. So i didnt wanna chance it.
Moved over used v grips for seated low cable rows. Used light weight but kept constant TUT. Nice and slow movements.
Moved over to the pec deck.
Used one arm adjusted for a good stretch. Used very light weight. Did 4 sets of like 30 reps. Didn't feel a whole lot but each time i will try increasing a little as long as everything stays safe.
Moved over to seated machine rows.
Did 3 sets light weight i think maybe 70-80lbs. Slow and strict. Constant tut.
Did a variety of stretching then moved back in for 30 minutes of the arch trainer.
Was a good day i will say. Hit the gum twice
 
Ok so today im at the orthos waiting to be seen. Believe this is my last visit. After this hoping to be given the clear to begin pushing myself without to many restrictions/restraints. Then i will begin my process with my lawyer and getting paid for 5 months I was out of work plus pain, suffering, loss of rom etc. Cross your fingers.

Then a real log will begin.

Hell yea ive been released.. Strength is great my ortho said for what ive had done. She was kinda surprised. Still have issues but expected.. Range of motion is not quite the same. And i get some severe cramping/tightening at the top of the bicep coming across the shoulder. Sleep sucks but i will have to deal with this. For now im happy and can finally begin wholeheartedly..
Time to make thr donuts.
