I dont think shakes before bed because I will be going to the toilet all nite.....I have one single of these every night before bed. Are these good or bad?

1. Popcorn (low butter)
2. Reduced Fat Hot Dog (yea I love them suckers, weakness)
3. Breyers Low Fat/No Sugar Added Ice Cream (splenda swetened)
4. Yogurt (low fat, no sugar added Dannon)
5. Nuts (almonds/cashews/etc)

what are your goals and do you train in the evening?

cant say those sources are optimal..the nuts can pass...if you cant handle the shake then have cottage cheese or quark or even some other lean peice of meat..or eggs..with some fruit or a source of fats...

Huh? In what way would you like me to rate this meal? 1 - 4 are nothing but what I would call a snack...a treat (or cheat) if you're on a diet. If you had good nutrition throughout the day and a dinner consisting of some lean protein and vegetable - then yes, go ahead and have a treat. But if your dieting then probably none of these choices are good for anything other than adding empty calories, sugar or fat to you diet. The nuts are okay - almonds or walnuts are best choices and then only a few ounces. Sorry, not quite sure what your goals were or if you were simply looking for someone to say your nightly treat was good or bad for you. Take care.

I would rate your bedtime treats a negative 4 (-4)

or what quadsweeps sister said.

I think the yogurt is fine

just add a scoop of protein powder

You should have a protein + a fat before bed......no fruit/carbs.....

Cottage cheese + almonds or sunflower kernels is a good choice....
