Quad Injection Gone Horribly Wrong - Need Advice

Have had the same issue and just don't pin quads anymore..... Glutes and delts are far less painful

Honestly, the needle didn't get blunted at all so I didn't put on a new one

Sounds like you may have landed close to a nerve.

As for needle blunting, Look at it under a magnifying glass you would change your mind. The needles are so sharp that YES, piercing the skin just once will dull them.

Having said that however as long as it didnt touch anything else you should be fine. Ive had literally 15+ injections done with the same needle while getting prolotherapy done and each one causes more pain as the needle dulls but its common practice.

Thanks guys. I will rotate left quad and right glute from now on. Do you suggest dorso or ventro glute? I've done both and gotten bad pip with each. Quads had been pip-free until this mess.

So my right quad is actually fairly pain free right now, but my left quad, where I injected twice in 4 days, is swollen a good bit (not red) and painful.

Is this normal? Did I waste any of the T? Am I good to lift legs tonight?

Anyone have an answer for these? These are my biggest concern. Also, 5-6 drops of oil left my syringe when I plunged it after the injection. This is in spite of plunging all the way an waiting 10 seconds while in the muscle. Any tips to prevent this and approximately how many drops of oil = 0.1 cc test E? Thanks again!
