How much protein do you consume post workout

Unfortunately 200 grams a day is all relative. That amount is not on the high side for someone who is 300lbs in weight but it is definitely adequate for someone who weighs in at under 200lbs.

My point or my question relates to that protein consumed directly post workout.

I was speaking in general terms. 40-60 grams post workout is sufficent.
 
It is basically corn starch but from a special type of corn. It is a complex carb with an extremely high GI. It is absorbed directly through the stomach walls so it is very quick. This of course causes an insulin spike pulling creatine (if you take it with the WM) and protein (that you take 20 minutes later) into the muscles. As well as giving you a big pump. It also replenishes muscle glycogen very quickly post workout to get you out of a catabolic state.

I take in 60g of Waxy Maize and 25-30 of Protein 15min post workout.. Then within the hour I take in 2-4 cups of Skim Milk.. an hour later I'm usually eating dinner, 50g of protein from fish or chicken or beef.. All my other meals at 40-50g of protein a day. I try to hit 350g of protein for the day - this includes my post wo shake, post-post milk.. I don't consume those extra calories on Sat/Sun since I don't work out.

Im with burpees on the postwork out carbs! same amount and everything although i take in 20 grams of eaa's with the waxy then 15mins later have a scoop of vp2 with water then eat again a hour later with real food ie. oats and chicken breast then every 2 hours after that till bed

Supposedly faster than dextrose and it doesn't cause stomach discomfort.
 
I've used dex, and honey, I need too much of both to actually feel it - it feels bad/wrong. Two scoops of waxy and in 18 minutes I have a sugar rush..then it's time to shoot back my protein and creatine/glutamine..

You should actually take the creatine/glutamine with the waxy maize. That way as it fills your muscles up with glycogen and water it will literally pull the creatine (and I assume glutamine as well) into your muscles. Then you use the insulin (released because of the WM) 20 minutes later to store the protein.

2100cals? Total caloric intake? Carbs and protein are 4cals/gm, fat is 9cals/gm. 240gms of protein is only 960cals.
