Pre and Post Workout Nutrition

Right then
I read so much conflicting views on this subject.
Obviously these would be the most important meals right?
So what's the best things to have and what are the timings for each?
Please feel free to share what you guys have pre and post workout

right now I am keeping my carbs somewhere between low and moderate

I have about 100grams to play with and i have 30 at breakfast and 50 in my post workout shake the rest just come from veggies and the few carbs that linger in eggs, meat etc

before a workout though I have a protein shake with flax oil a few hours before and then right before i have a coffee for a boost with ripped fuel or equivelant (the non eph variety)

Should I get another hi GI shake before training or carbs a few hours before?

My goals are to get rid of stubborn fat and performance in the gym for my boxing training.

you might want to try 25grams of high gi with protein during your longer workout... i have been doing this on my back and chest workouts and i like it.. Sometimes i will have oatmeal a couple of hours before i train and that also works... Just as long as you dont go over your daily requirements... you might want to experiment by taking away your morning carbs and put them pre workout... Just right down how you feel and try things for a couple of days before you make a judgement... BIG FAN OF LOGS
