powerlifting mags?

PCxPete

New member
ive been looking around trying to find some print mags that focus on powerlifting, so far ive found monester muscle but to get that shipped out to australia will cost me an arm and a leg.

anyone know of any other mags or where i can buy mags within australia?

thanks

I think you only have 2 in the universe to pick from. PLUSA and mOnster Muscle so you may be out of luck

best bet MIGHT be to find someone over here that can mail a collection to you cheaply. keep your eye out on ebay too, just do a search for "powerlifting"

hey pete how are you?

there is a magazine delivery company called gordon and gotch.

they deliver to most newsagents.

they used to carry Power lifting USA. they are a few months behind the US but they can do back issues sometimes,

but thats in the ACT.....so i dont know how you would go in WA. call every surrounding newsagents and ask if they can get in powerlifting USA

I like PLUSA. I subscribed to Monster muscle, it took about 4 months to recieve the first issue. I'll admit that the material was decent. Then I recieved 2 more issues (this was supposed to be a year subscription) and haven't recieved another one for months. That really sucks, as does their customer service. Won't respond to emails, give me the runaroundon the phone. Hell, I even ordered some back issues when I subscribed and never recieved them, despite being charged. Stick with PLUSA and this discussion board for the best info on PL. Oh, and F monstermuscle. Unless my mags have been getting lost in the mail I hope the company goes straight to hell.

i be doing pretty dang well ill tell you what my friend, lot of stuff seems to be slotting together nicely atm!

thanks peoples ill keep all comments in mind & let you know how i go

Oh i forgot to mention pete.

the magazine isnt really worth it. The print is bad, there is only minimal info (usually a good or bad interview and a article which is sometimes good and sometimes bad....and a guest routine)

the magazine is packed out with info and results of powerlifting in the USA, and is totaly void of any worth to us australians.

you get more info of the net.

The pictures are sometimes cool (often in black and white though).

it costs me 10.90(aus)

over all i dont think its worth it.

im glad everything is going your way!
