My boss has acutally visited an optimum plant, you guys would be very suprised i think to hear of some of the goings on...For instance that "any whey" stuff opti makes is just the same stuff as their regular unflavored and canned with a new label, they own both ABB and Optimum so those ABB Zero sugar bars are basically the EXACT same bar as the optimum pro. they just flip a switch and add\take away a few random ingredients. The protein that goes into those tubs isnt the best kind either, they get it from cheese not milk, in fact i think the number i heard was like 72 different places you can acutally get whey protein from and turn it into powder. The worst part though is that if some of it gets on the floor in the plant they just shovel it back into the big drum. They get it in 55 gallon drums dirt cheap. Needless to say I dont buy optimum hehe. I would go with Syntrax or San or Sci-Fit or Natures Best. Those are my personal brands.
