Hey Ladies,

I would really like to start doing my cardio in the morning. I have some video's that I used to do. I was wondering what everybody's opinion of the workout videos are. I would still do weights after work at night. It would just cut my time in half at the gym. Plus I feel so much better through out the day if I get some cardio in the morning in.

I've done cardio video/DVD's...I think that they are a great idea. Quick and effective for when you don't want to take the AM trip to the gym...just for cardio.

I used to get up before work and run. That's what propelled me to my level of fitness today (never better, but still not satisfied).

I was tired of not fitting in my clothes so I took my dog and started jogging (soon after, running) 2-3 miles. I seemed to have more energy, my mind AND body was awake--ready for whatever the day had in store for me.

Then I started running when I got home from work. I kinda got carried away and eventually made my way to a local gym.

I think it's gotten out of hand now...in a good way!

The video's I used to do are a bit dated, but still a great workout in my opinion:

*Step Reebok - basic (Novice-Intermediate)
*Step Reebok - power workout (Intermediate-Advanced)
*Tae Bo - Yes, I loved Billy Blanks! Now, it's Turbo Kick!

I say do it!

might be a better way to get motivated vs. trekking out to the gym and traveling back. saves time in the least.

It used to be that on days when it was too bad outside to sprint, I would stay in and do the Cindy Crawford II tape (NOT tape I). Man that kicked my ass EVERY time. Love that one. Great music too.

for some reason I have a hard time picturing you working out to Cindy Crawford (Tape 2...of course)!

That one rocks! In fact, a lot of the stability work I use on my football players. She does a lunge where you lunge front and back for 10 times without your lead leg ever touching in the middle. I have my football players do that with dumbbells held overhead and it tears their asses up. hehehe

Thanks ladies,
That was the answer I was hoping for! I have the Tae Bo series. As well as The Buns of Steel Step. I will look out for the Cindy Crawford 2 as well as the Step Reebok.
You ladies rock!

I'm so glad that you asked that question dayna4u2nv because it's something that I've always wondered about myself. BTW your signature is hilarious! I love it! Do you mind if use it?
