opinion on diet (NEWBIE IN BUILDING)

Hi ,

Again I'm new and just trying to get all the facts and input as I start my climb to a new life.

looking for a somewhat professional opinion from some that have been doing this for awhile!

my diet consist of the following

7:30am one whey protein shake
9:00am 4-6 eggs scrambled (in micro) 2 tune in pouch
noon 1 whey protein shake 2 boiled chicken breast
3pm 2 protein bars
4:30pm workout (still looking for the best routine 4 me)

6:30pm right after workout 1 whey protein shake)

7:00 2 chicken breast or round steak or salmon steak with plain rice seasoned with s/p
(whichever i have a taste for)

last meal 9:00pm 1 whey protein shake, 2 protein bars

AS I stated I'm new to all this and to start i want to build before I cut will this diet help or am I wasting my time?
any help is greatly apreciated

Not to bad bro but a few definite changes in my eyes need to be made. First are you eating 6 whole eggs every day? Also you need to add some healthy fats such as flax and olive oils. Green vegies? Bars suck in my eyes not saying I dont eat them myself off season but if you can avoid them do so, especially 4 a day crazy plus must be expensive also. Real food is always better that bars. Rice got to go get some real good complex carbs such as raw oatmeal not the stuff in the pouch with all the sugar, also some brown rice and flax seed or whole wheat pasta are great also. All I see is crazy amounts of protein intake you need the carbs and good (unsaturated fats) to grow man. Also what are your stats?
 
dont be working out every day either, workout every other day. you could also snack on peanuts,cottage cheese,peanut butter, tuna and have a litre of milk everyday.
you should be definately eating more carbs, being irish i eat potatoes in one form or the other evryday.
i rarely eat eggs myself they give me bad gas. but i make up for it by eating a can of tuna and a staek every night. aswell as coldcuts

how does boiled chicken taste? i prefer mine grilled

so eat more carbs good i too like my potatoes i'll just have to cut the butter/sour cream/bacon bits ect! that bites

boiled chicken taste just fine! just season after you cook it sometimes i`ll dip it in hot sauce thanks for the advice
