On the road back...

I hope that I am on the road back. I have not worn my knee brace or taken any ibuprofen for 4 days now. I also cut the grass on Tuesday (pushmower, nearly 2 hours). I did tape up my knee/shin but no brace or real pain.

I have near full ROM now (without pain). I am sad to say that there is a spot the size of a silver dollar on my leg that doesn't seem to have the sensitivity/feeling that it does on my left leg:( Ugh...

Tonight I did the following:

Bottom Position 12" ROM squats:
135, 225, 315 x 5
405 x 3
495 x 1
585 x 1
695 x 1 PR!!!! (last week I did 675 with a knee brace)

Farmers Walk Deadlifts
150 x 5 x 5 sets

Standing Calf Raises on a block
BW (285) x 15 x 2 sets

Reverse Hypers
BW x 10 x 2 sets

Still no pain or ibuprofen (I did take 2 pre workout though). I hope to do something light on Sunday in the gym and light on events. VERY light on events!!! After that I hope to squat next week to some degree and be back at about 70% on events the Sunday after that!!!!

Glad your feeling good, i know its been killing you to be down. but your a fighter, i knew you'd be back. im very proud of you for having the smarts to lay off while this set back has been around. youve trained very smart.

now, on to discuss the fact that your rehab light weight is a ton more than what most of us could do in a squat suit!!!!!...lol

good to see you coming back bro, the rest may have been good. i knew u had the bicep tendon that had been bothering u, so going light and no events for a few weeks may help you in the long run.

Alright Bfold I have to tell you to stop making pr's while hurt cause it is very discouraging for other strongman out there. :)

god job I hope you get 100% soon, try some glucosamine for joint protection
 
B-fold... I had a friend who fell off a 10 story building... broke everything and should have died. When I met him he couldn't walk. He came back to be the #1 stunt man in the film industry. How? Shear desire and will.

You have a ton of will power already.

Make it happen.
 
ON the road again, just can't wait to be on the road again....

Good work B-true keep it up but don't get too aggressive and re-injure youself.

Do you mean on THIS workout? No...completely raw. Shoes, socks, underwear, shorts, and a tank top...

I think I could have done 750+ on this workout but no reason to push it...
