On CKD, is there such thing as getting too much fat in your diet?

Please dont move this to the diet board until I get a few responses, things just move to slow over there

I have been on ckd for a while, I have lost anywhere from 7-10lbs, however I was wondering, is there such thing as getting too much fat in your diet while doing ckd?

reason I ask is this time I havent wanted to friggen write all the nutritional shit down, I have been focusing on getting a lot of fat though, since I know I have had problems with getting enough a few times before, I am supplementing with Flax, and olive oil, probably 3-5 tablespoons a day combined, and I might be getting to much fat

here is a mock daily menu:
6:00 am- bike for 1 hour
7:45- 1 tablespoon flax, 30 something almonds, macadamia nuts, or 2-3 tablespoons natty peanut butter
10:00- 3-4 pieces of cheese 3"x1/3"x1/3" and 3-4 peices of turkey or salami
12:30- medium sized salad with 1-2 hard boiled eggs, some cheese, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and a dash of vinegar
2:30- about 1/4 cup of macadamia nuts
5:00- can of chicken breast, 1 tablespoon of olive oil
6:30- 3-6 mile run
half hour after run- kipper snack in oil(I drain the oil)
1.5-2hrs after last meal- light snack(one of the following) cheese, kipper snack, or 2 tablespoons natty peanut butter and usually always 1 tablespoon of flax

let me know

Looks, good and no, the more fat you take in the better the results. You are not eating enough vegetables, and just be careful of all of those nutts...keep a count on the carbs. Replace that canned chick with a little red meat.

I followed mr. x's one to the letter, worked well for me, although it was hard cutting down from my normal fat intake.

What do your carb ups look like and how frequint are they. Sometimes when you stall in this type of diet your lepin levels and thyroid might be slowing down a bit. You can speed your metabolism up by more frequint carb ups. If you ahve been doing one every 7 days, change it to every 5 or 6. Also make sure you get enough carbs to get a supercompensation effect. This 300-400 gram bullshit guys try to do when they weigh 200 lbs is not nough. 3X your bodyweight in carb grams is a good starting point.

The calories on Mr. X's are too low for many of us. I can drop 3 lbs a week on over twice the calories on his worksheet. Also, as you get leaner once a week carb ups are not enough to maintain your lbm.

LOL @ it working for you...

sweet guys thanks for the input, yeah, I know to watch out for the nuts, I dont eat a lot of almonds, usually once a day, the macadamia nuts only have 1 net grams of carbs, I usually eat those once a day as well

I havent done a carb up yet, I plan on doing them every 7 days to start off

I don't like the unlimited fat CKDs. I do it Frank Zane style. Total intake = 10 cals per lb; 1 gram of protein per lb, 75 grams carbs and the rest from fat. Every 5th day carb up by raising total cals by 500.
