All the mags and sites tell you that if you want to build muscle and strength as possible as Quickly , protein intake is crucial before bed, I'm planning on taking egg whites Instead of a protein shake, how many would be enough to supply my body With protein it needs?

you aren't going to grow muscle off shakes and egg whites. if that was true there wouldn't be so many 20 somethings with bird chests sitting at the shake bar at the gym everyday. those magazines have agenda's to sell you supplements.

if you want to build muscle you gotta eat big to get big. and you gotta lift big to get big. get on a 5X5 program and start eating 3000 calories and 250 carbs+ per day.. you will grow like a weed. some creatine can't hurt either, and a T booster like hcgenerate from n2bm is excellent too

Eating protein (including egg whites), taken at night alone won't do anything for muscle growth. You need to have all the fronts covered if you want to achieve really good results.

Even with steroids you need to train hard as hell in order to grow, and you need a lot, because all those muscles require nutrients, and not only before going to sleep, but during the whole day.

A large egg white has 3.5g of protein. To get enough protein you would need to eat about 12 egg whites.

Egg whites are a fantastic fat free protein source. I usually like to eat my egg whites at breakfast with oatmeal but you can incorporate them at any meal.

I wouldn't worry too much about what you eat before bed but what you eat throughout the day. You want to have your body fueled at the right times. Eating before bed doesn't make much sense since you will be resting.
