Oats as my primary carb....PLEASE help

I bought the natural quaker oats and am finally ready to get my diet as close to perfect as I can....I work in an office and can't be sitting there eating all day, plus eating cups and cups of oatmeal gets boring....so here is what I do.....with lunch and an afternoon meal, I put a bunch of dry oats in a cup, put a shitload in my mouth, and wash it down with water....this is cool, right? And this is a top-quality carb to have, correct?
 
Yeah but oatmeal is so much better cooked with some splenda and cinnamon added to it

hahaha, and pizza is better then oatmeal.....but I'm looking to use food just as fuel for my body, really not concerned about taste, though I just can't do tuna

I like precooked yams - eat them like apples.
You can precook them them cool and carry in a baggy or tupper ware.

I bring sliced up peppers and green beens - 2-3 pepper and 1-2 cups of green beans.

I used skate with a guy that carried baked taters with him all the time.

I don't know what your diet is like but raw oats, no sugar apple sauce and raisins is awesome mixed together. (you can put the oats and raisins in a baggy and carry the little travel cups of apple sauce - put in a coffee cup and chow down - providing it works with your diet.
 
I do that too, I eat half a cup of oats during breakfast and usually have them gone in about 6 times. Just put a little bit of milk in my mouth, swirl it around, chew and swallow.

Don't see how it hurts.
 
i've been eating 2 cups of oats, 1 can of tuna, and 2cups of eggwhites, everyday at one point during the day for the last year....you just said you eat for fuel not for taste right? well that's what most people here do...

dood....just pour the oats in a cup....throw some water in there and put it in the microwave for 2 minutes.
