I am getting back into lifting again after a few years off (bad motorcycle accident and surgeries resulting from it kept me away for almost 6 years).
Up until recently I was lucky to have a good metabalism that didn't require much thought. I ate when I was hungry and excersized a lot. Now I want to get better results and need to pay more attention to my diet as age seems to be playing a bigger role in things. A few years back I developed an allergy to eggs that causes me to retch at any attempt to eat them. I cannot even put egg whites in my mouth without gagging.
Do any of you not eat eggs at all? I saw a post about albacore being a great protien source, but I have a feeling there may be other things in eggs that I might need to think about getting elsewhere. I love meat and eat plenty of it, but t'snice to have alternatives. I am not much for powders and really prefer to eat what I need, othr than vitamins and suppliments that are hard o get through a regular diet.
Any thoughts on this?
