Newbie first post - couple different questions

Greetings EF Forum People~

First post from a newbie. Several questions in here.

About me. 51 years old. Always been physically active. Currently do three days a week lifting and three days cardio (I am a dancer and a cyclist). Over the course of the last ten years I put on 45 pounds (of fat). Got so disgusted with myself that I’ve shed 28 pounds and I am looking to lose another 20. Currently 199 pounds and 5’10”.

My goal… first, to shed the final 20 pounds or so. Second, to add more muscle. I realize that those aren’t “do this first, then do that” objectives. When I say “first” and “second” I mean that losing the fat is my first priority and adding muscle is currently the second priority. I’m done being the athlete trapped in the fat guy’s body.

To lose the 28 pounds, mostly I’ve done the 4-Hour Body Diet (High Protein, Lo/Slow Carbs) and a lot of exercise. Took Thyro Activator (Tiratricol) during portions of my weight loss program and it has been unbelievably helpful. The store where I’ve gotten it before no longer has it, and isn’t sure if they’ll restock. I’ve read posts that say Thyro Activator is T3, but isn’t T3 = Cytomel?

From the reading I have done on this site and others, it appears that Clen, when used intelligently, would also be a great aid to shedding the remaining fat.

Today I ordered some Clen and some T3 from ChemicalNeed.com because of the positive things people in this forum said about them. (I was ready to order from Roid-Shop.com, when I read the reviews and cxl’ed my order. FYI, right about that time my AntiVirus software detected a Trojan the site was trying to put on my machine. But, I digress.)

Are Clen and T3 complimentary, or is that combo going to put too much stress on my body? Also, if I stay low on the dosage, is it necessary to take something for recovery after the Clen… or the T3 for that matter?

I’ve found that if I take the Tiratricol (even far below the recommended dosage), after about two to three weeks I can get shaky hands… which is no fun.

I’m not looking to become a competitive bodybuilder, just wanting to look really good and feel really good. I know that once I shed the fat that I’ll be looking for advice regarding how to add muscle mass more effectively. Seems the hours I spend in the gym really are not producing meaningful gains. But, that’s a post for a couple months from now.

I appreciate any guidance you can offer. Thanks.

T3 = Cytomel yes. also you have to really watch clen at your age not that your old but bp will go up and very very hard on the heart. hows the diet ?

Think you should diet instead of clen, clen isn't a punk or some shit you can get at GNC. Its very powerful and should be dealt with care. What do you eat in a day?

Diet looks like this most days...

Breakfast 25 to 35 grams of protein from eggs (usually) and sometimes lox. 1/2 a cup of legumes, espresso/cream.
Workout
25-35 grams of protein via protein powder
Graze throughout the day on 12 oz. chicken mixed with 1.75 cups of beans (kidney, black, garbanzo, whatever)
Dinner - leanprotein (about 8 oz+) and veggies with 2 glasses wine

Obviously some variation on this, but this is a typical day in my week. Weekends are a bit more lax, but essentially along these lines.

Hope that helps. Thanks!

Have you tracked your caloric intake closely by weighing and measuring? The reason I ask is when a lot of people get back into an active lifestyle to lose weight they often drastically cut too many cals. This works fine for a while but as they lean out and become fitter their body needs more calories and will stubbornly hold onto fat. Its important you are only in a small caloric deficiency to lose weight, cut too many cals and progress stagnates.

Zygla~ My caloric intake (net... meaning intake minus what I burn in exercise) is 2,000 to 2,200 during the week. Higher on weekends. I track everything in and out each day.

Thanks for the info re: the forum rules. I found a ton of info about what companies members consider reputable vs. unreputable on this forum, but I suspect the rules may have changed since the posts I read. I appreciate the feedback.
