I am 5 ft 9" ,143 pounds.Desperate at add MASS. My diet goes like this:

6:00 AM: 4 egg whites,2 bananas,glucose powder

WORKOUT

10:oo AM : 5 egg whites,200 ml of milk mixed with protein powder, rice cakes

2:00 PM : Half a chicken,rice

6:00 PM: Protein shake

10:00 PM: Half a chicken,rice,fruit juice.

The protein powder that I have is PROTINEX(a Pfizer brand).Mainly derived from Casein.

Experts pls let me know what u think.

I would like to see you fit in another meal consisting of a lean red meat and complex carbs. There is something about red meat that helps pack on the mass and it's not just the calories, some people call it natures multivitamin.

Sounds like you are not getting enough sleep... also you are not getting enough meals in if you are bulking, try eating every 3 hours instead of 4, how about 6,9,12,3,6,and 9? then go to sleep at around 10 so you can get a good 8 hours of sleep. I don't know if this is possible for you or not but try and stick with eating every 3 hours. Also, get more carbs in post workout... the chicken and rice would be good within an hour after your workout. Other then that it looks fairly solid... what are you daily cals and p/c/f%?

Thanks

Thanks everybody for your advise. This forum is a wonderful resource for BB ,esp for newbies.
bigpoppadrew : I really dunno my cals or my p/c/f %.

Try to eatat least 2 pounds of chicken and or steak a day. That will pack on pounds a lot better than protein shakes.

consider adding some flax or Udo's oil for healthy fats- didn't see any in your plan
also, try fitday.com to get your p/c/f each day- it helps to know what you're actually getting from your nutrition

If you have a fast metabolism, I'd say increase all of your portions.....
a little red meat couldn't hurt, but I prefer lots of chicken (just as u seem to) because it tastes better and goes with other dishes.....

here's a suggestion:

start eating whole wheat pasta, and throw a dab of olive oil which has EFA's (good fats).....lift around 4 days a week heavy and hard......if your cals are high enough you should gain nicely...
