New Member seeking advice fat loss, etc

I tried doing those calculations again (thanks for the direct links). I got 23% body fat, 2381 BMR based on moderate exercise level, and 2650 based on very active. So 30% reduction of calories based on those numbers would leave me in the range of 1666-1855 calories per day.

I don't think those calculations can be very accurate, as it put me at 14 % body fat, which I am NOT- there's no way.

Yeah, I had initially used that calculator, which put me at 23%, and then did some researching online of pictures of women with similar body fat percentages to me. I would guess I'm probably less than 23. Ultimately the more inexpensive methods, even the caliper, tend to be inaccurate by a few percentage points. But it wouldn't hurt to get measured multiple ways.
