Well, been a member here for a while but i seldom post. The info contained here is nothing short of great. It has helped me out in every facet of my training.
Well here is my question. I had an accident Feb2007 and have since been training for nearly 8 months since to get back into form. I have been training for almost 8 years.
Stats: 285lbs
BF: 16-19% bf
Age:25
Supplements:
Protien: Both Isolate for post workout and muscle milk for day time and night.
Creatine: Kre Alkaline Creatine
NO2 Supp: NO-Xplode
Daily meal supps: acetyl-l carnitine, r-ala, selenium, vit C, vit E and a multi.
Pre-workout add-on - GAKIC(i know, muscletech, but it works for me)
The dilemma: i am natural, i want to lose some weight and cut down before summer. I still want to stay natural. I DO NOT want to lose any muscle mass. I have worked too hard to get it back. I don't respond very well to ketosis diets but i have done well on the zone before.
Do i need to worry about losing muscle at this point or is my fat mass high enough that it should spare my muscle mostly with the supps i am taking?BTW, i have an ECA stack on hand.
Any advice before i start cutting that will spare muscle mass other then 20-30 min interval cardio sessions?
I hope that's not too scattered. The other question is what kind of weight training routine would be best for this scenario or does it not matter?
Appreciate all your insights and responses.
Regards.
