My father is 5' 10", 220 pounds, and wants to get back in shape. not to look good, but to be able to breathe!
He currently uses a breathing machine at night (basically just shoots air into his nose at a higher pressure so it's easier, he can survive without it but it helps alot)
He had to take anthrax shots in the military so he's got heart problems, he's hurt his wrists in a bicycle accident some 12 years ago ( the ligaments and cartledge simply aren't there.)
I want to get him a workout (very light by your standards) to get back in shape. The reason is, the less gut he has, the easier it is for him to breathe, and for the blood to flow. So, something needs to be done. What can I do to help him lose weight, get a bit more in shape, without straining his heart too much (and keep in mind he can't do alot of the basic workouts like bench press, because of his wrists)
Pretty big problem huh?
