So I dont post often, just kinda read from time to time depending on boredom and how free i am. I just wanted to say thanks to the boards. I joined 2 years ago, was pointed to the training vault and the 3x5 and 5x5s. complete noob when it came to the gym and you guys got me started on the right path. in those 2 years ive put on about 35-45lbs (im about 6 foot 180-185 right now was like 140-150) still would like a bit more but im in no rush.

my numbers since basically starting from scratch since then.
bench 195 5 set 5 reps as of today. i think ill fail at 200-205
Squat 285 3x5 still going strong.. not super ass to ground but well past 1/4 range
DL 290 and still climbing... grip strength is failing *no chalk no straps*
I like the clean and press got up to 175 5x3 but my form on the clean started to make my elbow feel wrong so i backed off

what ive learned is you dont fucking curl in the squat rack! do squats, do dl, Press heavy.

So thanks for saving me from chicken legs!
