Thank you Tiger88! I am going to post an update in about 4 weeks, I have never worked so hard on my diet and training than in the last month. It just goes to show what dedication and great support (advise) does. Thank you to everyone for the help!

hi jen....pretty much the same o'l thing. I eat 6 to 7 small meals every couple of hours to keep my metabolism racing, staggering calories between cardio and weight training days to keep my body guessing and of course one "cheat" day a week (which I still keep pretty clean). I eat oatmeal and either eggwhites, lean red meat or a whey protein for breakfast than a post workout protein drink. Right after my workout I drink a rapid recovery drink. My next meal is always chicken or lean turkey or fish and 1/2 yam or brown rice and always green veggies (mostly broc). 2 - 2.5 hours apple and raw almond butter and so on and so on. I do drink 3 whey protein drinks a day with water eat alot of salmon and sometimes before bed a little cottage cheese. I have cut out most bread although I eat whole wheat pitas sometimes, I do not drink anything but water (a gallon at least a day) and ice tea. I think the hardest thing was giving up diet soda and sobe leans the aspartame makes me bloated (hard to digest). I take fiber once a day because of all the protein. I use to drink supplements but the fake sugars kill me. Oh and on my what I like to call "Treat Day" instead of "Cheat Day" I have whatever dessert I am craving, usually a hot fudge sunday!

I lift weights (Heavy) low reps to failure 4 days, cardio on low cal days, only 2 days right now. My workouts consist mostly of compound excercises and alot of squats! My goal right now is to loose body fat and gain muscle. :)

Thanx for the support any suggestions are appreciated!

Awesome girl!e

I noticed you said you lift heavy to failure 4x/week - all I can say is watch what "to failure" means so you don't end up straining anything. Otherwise -awesome results! I love your attitude- you can really feel the intensity of your goals!

Thank you Sassy.... I have read most of your post and I have to say you are great!! I worked for a couple of months with lower weight higher reps and I just didn't build the muscle that I am starting to see. I think my only problem right now is I am eating way to much, although I am losing bodyfat and finally seeing gains in muscle I eat on weight days between 3000 and 3200 and 2200 to 2500 on non weight days. I think I am paranoid I am going to lose the muscle I am working so hard to build!

Good Job! :) Maintaining loss is alot harder than losing it thoug, do you have a plan for maintenance weight? How many calories are you eating now?

Right now I am trying to lose bf and build muscle, It is very hard to do both at the same time! I am probably eating way to much right now (between 2000 and 3000 cals), I know my metabolism is raging and if I cut calories I would drop. Just not sure when to do that being I want MUSCLE!!! :chomp:
