i hurt my elbow speed benching about 3-4 weeks ago, its getting better.. i cant lock it out or do any kind if curls where my palm is facing up, i can only do hammer curls.. or i cant to skulls or over head ext, only close grip bench and dips. so i was thinking about takin a whole week off, but then im like, why dont i just take a week off from pressing movements, so i decided to do this

1 - back
2 - legs
3 - off
4 - off
5 - back
6 - legs
7 - off
8 - normal routine

deads only one time that week, as usual

do u think a 7-10 days off from chest and delts and pressing would make it better? i think it would refresh me chest delts and tris and make me stronger. what do you guys think

You are facing tendonitis. . .

I have battled this before.

The best thing you can do, is cut down on the number of sets and lower the weights for a while.

Also, purchase some glucosamine for joint building. You may even consider taking a few days off for rest.

This can be be a sign of overtraining and overuse of the joints.

well, when i was doin speed bench, i locked out too hard, and i THINK i hyperextended it, if not then it might be tendonitus, ive cut down alot, trust me, i havent done tris or bi's heavy in a month.. if anything 1-3 sets of light curls and press downs.. its getting alot better.. but....:(

take a whole week off or try a week of deloading

just use 50% of normal weight and don't lock out on any excercise, don't train to failure just go in and go through the motions and have fun

I sucks to have this. . . I actually had problems curling a 20lb dumbbell about 4 years ago because the pain was so intense. How do press-downs feel?

You will get through this, but you should should take some time off. Focus on leg training for a while.
