my bodyfat is 16.5% am i fat?

A good rule of thumb is if you can't see your abs you are way too fat for a bodybuilder. I have been competing on the national level since I was 22 so trust me i'm not just talking out of my ass here. When my bodyfat would go north of 10-12% come competition time I would end up dieting too hard and burn off hard earned muscle; not what you want to do after working so hard to earn it. What you have to ask yourself is am I a bodybuilder or a weekend warrior? Is my goal to win a contest or be big and strong in the gym and lift big weights? The bottom line is whatever choice you make, make it your own. Be your own person and don't let others influence your decisions.....

IUNLESS THEY ARE SERIUOS COMPETITORS AND ARE CONSTANTLY A WEEK FROM A SHOW!!!! 4-6%bf IS SHREDDED

If you can see all of your abs then you are pretty fu*king thin...and that's what I want. I could really care less what bf % that equates to. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if my calipers were a little generous on the readings.
