Try ground turkey sometime also. I actually prefer the ground turkey. I only put in about 1/2 of a pound. "Mom's" pasta sauce is a bit pricey, but it's food fit for the gods if you can find it.

I'm not sure that this is the right forum, but I do love to make my own pasta sauce. In the late summer, I pick the tomatoes, and I make and can my own sauce though. The only thing I haven't done yet is to make my own italian sausages....YET. I have a good friend who has been making italian sausages from an old family recipe that I may have to teach me. When I can my own tomato sauce, there is no sugar added so that makes it really good for dieting. Pasta though? That is a different thing.

I just ate a pound of 93% lean ground beef mixed a few dashes of my grandmother's homemade sauce :)

Mmmm!!! MmmmMmmm bitches!

BTW I love pasta for my pre-workout meal. I always lift like an animal with those carbs in me.
